Keto test strips have a much more doable price range these days I see! I was surprised to see them here at approx 10 cents a strip AND they come with little urine catching cups too, how fancy! Somehow they managed to fit 100 little cups into 4 inches of space, that's impressive by itself. The cups are thin plastic but still robust enough to do the job. I feel like the addition of the cups makes this process a little easier especially for females. Overall, the strips seem accurate and are giving me the expected results. Obviously they are not lab grade detailed number answers but it's plenty good enough for the average at home user. Having the color matching scale right on the outside of the strips container is very convenient too.So how it works is you pee into the little cup and you don't need much pee, the cups are 2 inches across and you only need about 3 mm high of liquid to collect in there, it doesn't take a lot which means most of the time, you'd have enough available to perform. Then grab out a strip from the strip container and set the action end of the strip into the liquid for 40 seconds. I've just been counting "1 mississipi' style up to 40 and that seems to work fine. I don't like to have to fiddle faddle around a lot to do jobs and this set up means I don't have to. Then match the color that the end of the strip changes to with the color scale on the bottle to see approx what ketone production you have. IME, this basic process is how all these ketone kits work.Downsides, although the cups are an improvement, it's still a bit of a challenge to collect the pee while reliably never touching any of it (probably far easier for males though). I don't see an easy solution to that though other than having maybe a long handle option to hold the cup. I created a quickie plastic cut out of one with my dremmel using a leftover cheap plastic food container and have included a photo of it, this has solved that problem. I just rinse it in the sink after use. At 7 inches long, it's just barely long enough but it works. It is also bendy enough that I stuff it into the original box with the rest of the product. This is the main upgrade I'd personally suggest as a female if the manufacturers wish to upgrade their kit and I have not seen this option with other kits either. Otherwise, this is a nice kit at a good price.

I’m on keto and I understand the limitations of using urine tests to keep track of keto but they are very convent when traveling or at work. If you know what your reading these can be helpful to keep track of ketosis, particularly when you’re starting your plan.The tests are very easy to use with the collection cup although you are left with the mess after you’re done. Not a biggie if you know where your trash can is. The color comparison method can be difficult but it’s not rocket science. For general “am I stillIn ketosis?” It’s a winner.At the end of the day, serious long term maintence is much easier with a breath meter. For easy, portable use these do the trick.

This ketones testing kit is great I’ve been using ketones testing strips for many years and usually I just purchase the kind that just comes in a bottle with the testing strips with them and you just put them in your stream hoping that you get an accurate results but let’s be honest it was a messy process. However this one provides disposable collection cups. It’s a real game changer. I really appreciate the fact that you get 100 individual disposable cups that you can get your sample in and then test separately. It was quick. It was easy and it was way more sanitary than the other way around, I love how clear the results were and how quickly they came through some test I’ve used before the colors would be in between and you weren’t really sure where you matched up with however, with this one, I could clearly see the levels. I would highly recommend this kit for anyone who is looking to test out their ketones and see where they’re at it’s extremely accurate and very easy and sanitary to use. I highly recommend especially for the price, which is comparable to other testing strip brands that don’t come with a separate cup to retrieve the sample. I think you’ll be pleasantly pleased with the convenience and the results.
