I've had these for 4 days.The smell other reviews report was there when these arrived. I put both dumbells in shadow out on my deck for a day.They still smell a bit but only when you get very close to them, and the smell is definitely dissipating.They work and feel and balance like the ones in a regular gym. Good grip and both dumbells are evenly balanced.Weight is 19.6 pounds each. (I've never weighed the ones in the gym but I'd be surprised if those are spot-on at 20 pounds.These have the same heft as gym ones).They also seem robust and unlikely to fall apart.Overall I am very pleased with these and would buy them again.July 17. Ten days since I received these. The smell is nit noticeable unless you put your nose about an inch from the black rubber.These were a good deal and seem the same as what use in a local gym.I'd definitely buy these again!

After reading a lot of reviews, I was expecting a stronger rubbery smell to these, and was fine with it due to the price---But these had a very minor smell that was not bothersome at all...Like the smell I expect anything made of that material to have, but it wasn't strong like I thought it would be. I love these weights and have been implementing them into my program! I think they're a great deal for the price, and feel just like the weights I've used in the gym. Great quality for a steal.

I have a full set of dumbbells, but my son keeps stealing my heavier weights to use for his workouts. I had been resistant to getting him his own set because of the cost. Then I came across this set -- actually a PAIR (not just one) for less than the price I had been finding for a single 20# dumbbell. So I immediately ordered them. They arrived, and other than a pretty strong chemical smell that I assume will wear off as they air out, they look just like the ones in my full set. I like the Hex ends as they work better when you have to hold the set together for a move. There is a metal textured grip with a slight flare in the center that helps with grip. Very happy with this find!

I ordered the 25lbs dumbbell pair, and I’m really happy with the quality. The price is excellent compared to other options on the market, and they feel durable and well-made. The only minor thing I noticed is that the handle is a bit longer than expected, but it doesn’t affect usability much. Overall, it’s a great product with no complaints. I’d definitely recommend these over the higher-priced dumbbells available out there.

I wish I had never bought these weights. I did not realize that these weights would cloud the room with a thick tar smell. I have to leave them outside for months in the hopes that the stench will somehow go away. Even outside I can't go near them for awhile they smell that bad. Also for their weight their physical dimensions are much larger than other weights built of higher quality material.This is the first time buying weights so I did not realize that the smell would be an issue. Unless the smell goes away I will not be using them.

Smells awful, mediocre and uneven finish
Absolutely awful smell. Wiped them down when received and aired them out for two weeks straight outside, on the balcony. That should get rid of the smell, right? This did NOT get rid of the awful smell. Brought them inside in the evening and it made the living room smell awful overnight. Unbearable smell that has no sign of going away.The black parts have weird pumps and the finish is uneven so when you press the dumbbells together, they don't seamlessly rest against each other.The weight is not accurate at 20 lbs either.Do not buy. You think you are going to save a bit of money but if you want these for indoor use... Not recommended.

I pesi sono ben costruiti, con un'impugnatura solida e un ottimo bilanciamento. Perfetti per l'allenamento in casa o in palestra. Arrivati dentro uno scatolone al cui interno erano presenti altre due scatole con all interno i due manubri ben imballati con materiale anti urto. I manubri di presentano ben fatti, il peso è reale (nel mio caso 30lb/13,6 kg), l impugnatura spessa e con buon grip. Odorano leggermente di gomma, ma dopo qualche giorno, si affievolisce. Molto soddisfatto dell acquisto.
