It’s salmon season, I bought this vacuum sealer to vacuum seal Salmon, both raw and smoked. I absolutely recommend this model. It vacuums out ALL the air and double seals the package. It made quick work of 50 pounds of salmon! I buy bulk quantities of meat at Costco and it does a great job of preserving steaks, burger, and chops. Easy to use and clean up afterward.

No comparison to the Food Saver. I used my Food Saver all the time putting up vegetables and meat. I can never do more than 3-4 bags at a time with this machine when I normally do 10-20. This machine does not handle the work I needed Do not recommend it if you can a lot like me.

Wow! I was in the market for a "seal and save" Food Saver since my old one of 8 years had died on me. (Mind you that was the second "Food Saver" Brand of seal and save I had owned. Anyway saw this one which was much less than the brand name food saver and thought I would give it a try as I had gone through 2 ....I am extremely pleased with my purchase. Much quieter, more options and great value.

Works very well as long as you have a great deal of extra bag cut. Was used to our older Beelicious Pro that you just stick in the opening to seal it. This one needs more on the sealing plate. This open lid one is much easier to use than the one you stick in the opening too. Much faster process with the pull down role, cut, seal, fill, seal, repeat. I do a ton of sealing since I make all our vegan food and freeze it. Love this thing!
