I was so impressed by the quality of this and the nostalgia it brought that I decided to leave my old mantel up and install this over my sliding glass doors to match the aesthetic look in my home. And the fact that I ordered the wrong size. I don't know what I was thinking but I am glad I made that honest mistake. The color is amazing and weight is appropriate for the type of real wood that its constructed of. The best part is it is exactly like my old mantel and blends perfectly with it. I considered adding it above my current mantel but didn't want to have to tear down all that nice stone work and inlaid slabs of rocks above it. SO I turned around and noticed the empty space above my sliding glass doors. Perfect! Installed in minutes and gives my home a bit more grace. And a place to store my treasures too! Or hanging those extra stockings for the largest family gathering I will have ever hosted this season! I think it's worth more than the current price. I'd love to have another.

I got this to use just for a shelf, not over a fireplace, and for that it works great. Very easy to install, not sure if it comes with instructions but you really don't need any to mount this shelf. Well worth the money as it is a well though out, yet super simple system for hanging a shelf. Once the studs were located in the wall, from box to installed and putting items on the shelf, the whole process took 6 minutes to finish, including taking the box out to the shed to get rid of it.It looks very nice and my wife loves her new shelf in her office.

Though I don't have a fireplace, I need a shelf that my cat cannot have access too. It is a nice size shelf - 60" in length, and comes with everything needed to hang it easily. It comes in four sizes and three colors. I got the brown 60" shelf, which is great for me. The shelf is stylish and durable as it is made of natural Monterey Pine. It has a hollow structure to reduce the weight of the shelf.Overall a nice shelf to stand along or for a mantel over your fireplace. I do feel that it is a bit high priced.

This mantel is just what I was looking for to put up in our new enclosed porch over the faux recessed fireplace. The quality is good and white finish and rustic design with the corbels add a lot of character - very nice, simple but stylish. It was straightforward to install, and it feels very sturdy and secure. It’s the perfect depth for displaying a few photos and a some decorative items. It has really transformed the look of our fireplace and added practical decorative display.

This floating shelf is beautifully finished and extremely sturdy. The wood grain and color give a rich, rustic look, and it supports substantial weight when mounted properly. Installation is straightforward with included hardware. Excellent build quality and design for the price.
