It did take a little bit of getting use to so that I could get all the air out of bag(s). Once I figured out that if I held the bag so that is was a bit more level it sucked out the air very well.I have had no issue with freezer burn now, like I did with just putting meat, etc. into a freezer bag then wrapping it in foil before putting it into the freezer.The functionality and power that it has (which did surprise me) make sealing meats, veggies, leftover and even meals easy and fun to do and cuts down waste.I even bought one for my daughter in law one and she loves it as well.

I made some ribs and used this to seal them. Sealed great. It was easy to use and went quick. This is a great value for the money and will save a lot of food that would otherwise go bad. Great quality and great design.

If there were no stars that would be my choiceVacuum does not work after carefully following extremely small instruction guide. Writing is so small I literally had to use a magnify glass to read it!I went thru 6 bags & no vacuum! Too frustrating to keep trying will just use my freezer bags like old way!

Completely different from the ones I've had in the past. It worked just fine when I used it today. More options than the previous brand which can be good, or bad, depending on personal experience. One feature I liked so far was the ability to 'double seal' a bag. More protection when putting down damp or wet items. Having wet, damp and dry options is also useful, where my last two only had wet and dry. Another difference, the heating element is on the cover and not on the bottom... Only two cons... features and instructions written in the paper provided VERY SMALL... and it seemed to take a little longer to seal a bag... I THINK that's because it won't let you open it until it cools down a bit.YesterdayJust received the product. It was packaged very well and all parts received. I'll update after I use it tomorrow.

Amazing product at a reasonable price. The dual vacuum sealing option as well as the multiple sealing functions make it a fabulous vacuum sealer. Very easy to use and straight forward quick reference operating instructions.
