I was hesitant to try at-home laser hair removal, but this IPL device has completely exceeded my expectations! It has multiple intensity levels, so I was able to start gently and work my way up as I got more comfortable. I honestly didn’t expect much from an at-home IPL device, but this one surprised me. The packaging was clean, and it came with everything I needed the laser device, razors, protective glasses, and a simple instruction booklet. I also liked that they included a skin tone/hair color chart, which helped me figure out what level to start with.The first few uses felt a little warm but not painful at all, especially with the cooling feature (it really makes a difference). I’ve been using it on my legs and underarms for a few weeks now, and I’m already seeing less regrowth. The hair that does come back seems finer too.I’d recommend shaving first and using aloe vera gel afterward like the instructions say my skin did get slightly red the first few times, but that went away within an hour.It’s definitely not “instant” but if you’re consistent, it works. For the price, it’s absolutely worth it, especially compared to what I’ve paid for salon treatments in the past. Seems just the same.

Overall, this IPL Hair Remove is a big improvement over older models. Most of the IPLs that I have used in the past are pretty similar in terms of size and function. Older models would sometimes cause burns if they were not allowed to cool down for a while when doing larger areas. The big difference is that this one is the first cool one that I have used. It still gets hot when doing large areas, but it really only gets a little warm and not in a painful way. When doing larger areas, you will still need to take breaks from time to time, but not as often as older devices. When you do let it cool down, it is much faster than older models (only a couple of minutes). The question that everyone wants to know is, do IPL Hair Removal devices work? They do, but not overnight. After about 1 week I noticed that the hair was a little more fine when I used it. It was around 3 to 4 weeks before I noticed any lasting effects. I use it on my neck since I never plan on growing a beard and hate shaving everyday. It works great on dark hair. The light from it is very bright, so make sure you use the eye protection that is included or other eye protection. A great buy for the price.
