This surround is perfect for gas fireplace inserts. It is lightweight but well built. Easy assembly and looks great. Can't beat the price. I was given a gas fireplace insert but don't have a fireplace so I bought this surround and it fit perfectly

I LOVE THIS FIREPLACE!!!!,im 73 it's only 3 pieces to put together,easy peasy!!!extremely lightweight!!!so glad I did this,will post a picture when it's done.perfect for christmas!!!.

Absolutely horrible painting job! They didn’t even prime this product and then they went back up and spot touched this product. Now after spending $170. At a discount rate I have to sand, prime & repaint this for my studio. Absolutely insane the way this product looks with the price I paid! I should get a refund, with all the money time and energy. I’m going to be wasting on fixing this.

I was so hesitant to buy this because it did not have any reviews, but I am so glad I did. I absolutely love this mantel. It is exactly as described. It took me only about 5 minutes to assemble. It is sturdy and well made and a great value for the price. It was advertised as being white, but I wanted off white, so I had planned to paint it when it arrived. I think though that even if I had wanted white, I may have painted it as well, because the white paint that was on it was more of just a thin white wash, almost like a primer. It took me only about 20 minutes to apply one coat of paint and it made it look so much nicer. I am very happy with this purchase.

I bought this not intending to keep it white, but am still shocked at the poor paint job for the price. Even at a discount..I also didn’t expect the detailed bit to be painted so … grossly. It looks like someone sponge painted with poop.Assembly was quick and easy, feels sturdy, but still cheap quality.
