ABOUT MAGNETIC STIRRERS:
This economical SH-2 model Magnetic Stirrer Hot Plate independently controls temperature and stirring speed. The 120 ×120mm Stirring Hot Plate has a 180W heating power and 520°F (271°C) maximum temperature. The magnetic stirrer is adjustable from 100 to 2000 rpm. A support stand with an adjustable thermometer holder is also included. Suitable for industrial, agricultural, medical and health, scientific research institutions, colleges and universities laboratory liquid mixing heating.
Power safety
Magnetic Stirrer has a voltage of 110 watts, Turn off the on/off button before using it and connect the power cable. There is a fuse built into the underside of the power connector so that you can always replace it if it short-circuits.
Magnetic Stir Bar and Magnetic Stir Bar Retriever
The Stir Bar Retriever follows the lines on the outside of the container to help you easily pick up the stir bar from the bottom of the container. Does not get wet. The perfect accessory for a magnetic stirrer.
The package contains 2 magnetic stirring bars (9*28mm) + 1 stirring bar retriever
Can I heat liquid to boiling condition?
It's difficult to perform stirring and heating simultaneously for the stirrer with heating power at 180W only for the stirred liquid keeps losing heat. As a result, we suggest that stirring shall be stopped when heating is performed, or you can get boiling liquid by heating and stirring such liquid in a sealed container.
