This heart craft kit is a wonderful way to engage primarily little girls in creating bracelets or necklaces that shouldn’t be gifted along with a lovely heart card. The kid comes with heart shaped beads of all sorts of pesto colors. It also comes with little sheer bags making them excellent little gifts. The cake comes with nylon strings and heart shaped cards, which can serve as valentines, thank you, or greeting cards. This cat will keep children engaged for several hours because it requires creating the bracelets or necklaces. It’s an excellent option.

This is a cute kit to purchase, but not being crafty, I had no idea how to secure a knot with elastic string and there were no instructions included. I googled, but in the end I don't know that my knot was successful. I was afraid to cut the excess too short incase the knot was not secure and it kept coming out so it was visible. The bracelets are cute though, as long as they are not taken off the cardstock heart, and not being worn, at least in my case. Also, the red bags included did not even come close to holding the heart, they are way to small and ripped very easily.

The 3 to 7 year old girls in my crafts class had a great time making these bracelets. They loved the hearts and the letters. The colors of the heart beads are delightful. The elastic cord is thick and was easy for even my three year old to use stringing the beads.Helpful hints: be sure to use a 12" piece of elastic cord as per the instructions so you don't have beads falling while you work. I tied an extra bead to one end temporarily to help with that. Test the length on the girl's wrist before you tie it off to make sure it is long enough and not too long - it's hard to judge when the bracelet is in a straight line. For very secure knot: use a surgeon's knot. Then (very important) pull all four ends of the cord until the knot is very tight in a tiny ball. This knot will never come out. If the knot is not tight it may come undone easily. If you want to use glue, I suggest B-7000 craft glue with the needle nozzle tip for applying tiny dots of glue. Cut the extra cord leaving about 3.8".The cards are sturdy good quality cardstock. The ribbon is on a roll so you can cut any length you want.I am very pleased with this product and recommend it highly.

The beads in this set are absolutely adorable and are nice and sturdy, but I had one major issue: I only received the letters L, O, and V! Since I got this set primarily for the heart shaped beads, that's no big deal for me, but if you got them for actual gifts it'd be a huge issue!!

Purchased this for my arts and craft daughter and she loved it, just not for what it was intended for. She loved making bracelets and even a few necklaces. Initially, we were confused about the beads, thought some of them were different, but they're all the same, just placed in multiple packs. She kept it separate and did not attach the bracelets to the cards; she just wrote out a bunch of messages on the cards and kept it movin. It was a great activity for her to work on, just wish there was more of a variety of different beads. Overall, a good purchase.

My girls love crafts and they have especially been on a bead tear recently, making bracelets and necklaces and things in that vein. This was a fun single sitting craft which I had them do on Mother's Day to spruce up the celebration. The beads are easy to get on, even for little fingers. The heart beads are very nice and were something we didn't have from other sets. The letter selection was a bit funny since it was just M and O but each one about 50 times so they could write MOM MOM MOM MOM MOM if they wanted to, but we were able to supplement from other sets and write out nice sentiments like I LOVE YOU MOM, etc. The set also included ribbons, thread, cardboard hearts, everything you needed really to make a really nice card and bracelet for Mother's Day.
