I have a few different aquariums, but it’s my smallest tank that gives me the most work. It’s only 3 gallons and I use it primarily for guppy fry. The problem is since it’s small, the water gets cloudy quickly. I wanted this UV light to keep the water clearer. I hooked it up to a 5W submersible pump set at the lowest setting. The quality and design is ideal for my nano tank. The water is flowing through the UV light and it’s easy to control with the buttons on the power cord. I am pleased with the results so far and recommend it.

I wish I had it before picture but my tank didn’t look that great and now it is so much cleaner. I feel good knowing that this is healthy for my fish and I can buy plants for my tank now.

It’s a high level uv water sanitizer from a good aquarium brand. The light is encased in plastic and glass molding so it’ll never harm fish, only the water microbes. The setup needs to be connected to a canister or water pump though, so you really can’t just throw in in your tank and turn it on. The tubing to do so is also not included. I’d recommend for any tank with the appropriate setup.
