This heat gun kit includes 4 accessory nozzles and an informative, easy to understand user manual.The housing is synthetic with a plated steel nozzle.The 2 wire/16 gauge power cord is 5'-7" long.The 4 accessory nozzles are plated steel and fit securely to the heat gun's barrel.The cover for the rear porion of the barrel may be removed for access to hard to reach areas.While bench testing, I found that the low setting achieved 415.5 degrees F on a copper pipe fitting.On the high setting, 650.4 degrees F was achieved on a copper fitting and the existing solder started melting.These measurements were taken from the fittings, not from the heat output from the gun itself.I was also able to remove multiple coats of paint from a steel work table.This gun will quickly heat schedule 40 PVC so that it can be bent or shaped.The gun is surprisingly quiet while operating.A very practical design feature, this gun may be rested on the rear side so that the barrel may cool.I like this heat gun a lot. It can handle light duty work like heat shrink tubing applications to heavier jobs like paint removal or PVC pipe bending.A good product at a moderate price.

I can not find much of a difference between this heating gun and my more pricey gun that I purchased at the orange big box store. It has the same attachments and the heating temperatures are roughly the same. I tested it and this Batavia gun heats up quickly, just as they claim. It is also lighter and less bulky than my old one so it is easier to hold for long periods or conveniently able to stand on its own with the integrated stand. I used it to remove old film from my car’s windows and did an excellent job. For the money, it is a great tool that comes complete with all the necessary parts to tackle small jobs that require heat.

This heat gun doesn't feel junk when held or used.Both the fan and heater get a noticeable boost on switching to high.The wattage exceeds the capacity of my testing equipment, but I can say that switching to high causes household lights to dim for a moment, and that it will easily strip paint on low.It's about the same size and shape as any other heat gun, and the handle doesn't get hot despite feeling more powerful than average.The tips included both fit the heat-gun and work well for their various dedicated tasks without rapidly being destroyed.
