Everything is designed as a 9x12 except for the box which is 19.2x13 to hold everything perfectly within it. Similar to using tupperware but this comes with the 2 sponge pads and 40 disposable palette sheets along with the tempered glass palette making it a complete package. The snapping lid is a great feature for an easy on and off, feels like my paint will be getting a vip spa treatment in its cozy box :)

I have owned many stay wet palettes and always end up giving them away for various reasons but this one is a keeper! I am so impressed by the quality and build! The sponges are so much thicker than any I have tried and are sturdy enough that I don’t have to worry about cleaning and sanitizing them. You can use the paper and sponges or the palette and sponges, both fit perfectly. I see myself using the palette for gouache as it will be easier for me to see values due to the grey. Both options are great for measuring opacity as well. The lid secures tightly and keeps your paints wet and ready to go. I honestly love this so much I may end up getting another one as I often have multiple projects on the go at once. It’s definitely more expensive than others I have used but you are definitely getting what you pay for here as is the case with most art supplies. I tried to find a con but genuinely couldn’t, it’s not too small nor too big, it offers flexibility depending on your needs, and it looks and feels expensive. Highly recommend to beginners and pros alike because our precious paints certainly aren’t cheap and in the long run this will save you much more than you spend!
