When I came across these two, 10 packs of 5 hour energy shots, I had to try them. I work at a warehouse, while my workdays are supposed to be eight hours, they can run up to 12 hours without notice and JUST matcha for me isn’t enough, I needed something more and easy to take. I actually have one pack at home and one pack in my locker at work, and the ones at work, have come in handy and saved my production rate, especially towards the end of the day! I drink them only when I’m really crashing and need to get over the hump. They smell but like berry soap, but have a pretty good sour berry taste, (it seems to taste better the more you drink it) almost like a sour powdered candy taste. I start feeling good within about 15 minutes; I don’t feel like I’m gonna crash after I drink it or feel jittery like I had too much coffee, just a perfect “cruising” energy. They last maybe about 4 - 4 1/2 hours, for me as I have strenuous warehouse job. Overall these packs are a great deal and worth the investment, I love having these 10 packs ready to go and if I were to get these as a gift, I’d be pretty happy!

I normally use coffee for extra energy and alertness, but these work great for the afternoon slump. I drink half a bottle around 2:00 on the days that I need to, and it does a great job of perking me up to get through the rest of the work day. I do not get jittery and it does not impact my sleep. The berry flavor is fine. I don't particularly enjoy the taste of these types of drinks so I just take them in a shot and this one goes down fine. These are a good value if you compare them to energy drinks, Starbucks coffees, and or buying the shots individually at a convenience store.

Tart and sweet, to be expected. Goes down smoothly, quickly absorbs, and definitely takes the edge off of your exhaustion when working a long day on little sleep. I’m a coffee drinker, not an energy drink drinker, but coffee isn’t always easily accessible. It’s really easy to knock one of these little shots back and not have to go the rest of your shift like a zombie from The Walking Dead. It’s a bit like taking a shot of whiskey instead of drinking a tall beer, when comparing these to a traditional energy drink. But I don’t like energy drinks and I don’t like beer either, so I’d rather just get it over with. These are great for that.

I was tired of carrying around energy drinks, I tried just having a little preworkout tin but that was no better. The size is convenient for sure. Doesn't taste great, but its fine and doesn't linger for me at least. Fast energy, but big crash, as to be expected. Mostly just use to wake up quickly and exercise when I'm groggy, would probably be less willing to tolerate the taste and crash if I was going to be taking it during the daytime or for allnighters.

Convenience: Very convenient to carry and quick to drink. They don't even need to be cold to drink them.Taste: Tolerable, but not actively enjoyable to drink like coffee or a regular energy drink.Speed: Acts faster than coffee and most energy drinks (probably because you drink the whole thing so fast).Energy: I get about 2 to 3 hours of energy. The energy feels like it has more strength than from just caffeine alone, but it also feels a little artificial. In that sense it is like most other energy drinks.Crash: Worse than coffee, about the same as with other energy drinks.Ingredients: Similar other energy drinks, but much more controversial than just having caffeine. Contains massive amounts of niacin, B6 and B12, as well as taurine, amino acids, and other ingredients. Worth researching if you have concerns.

I have managed to never try a 5 Hour energy drink until now. So I can’t compare flavors, but the berry flavor I got isn’t half bad. One of my teenagers compared it to children’s cough syrup, but you aren’t drinking a lot of it and nobody is drinking it for the flavor.I am used to drinking a lot of coffee so this wasn’t anything mind-blowing as far as caffeine goes, but it is handy to have in a drawer or in my purse and it’s better than one of those gigantic nasty tasting energy drinks. Oh, and I don’t have to worry about coffee breath while I’m out and about.Due to the cost this isn’t something I would drink every day… but it is nice to have one around just in case.

I mainly use these as a pre-workout, I have had to use them a couple of times to help me wake up in the morning. I don't get jittery from them, but I definitely feel a boost in energy. These aren't something I consume if I am not doing anything that day, as they would probably keep you from sleeping in you don't use the energy. The taste is alright, its kind of sharp and tart, which for me helps wake me up a bit. This is definitely going to last me awhile as I don't use them every day, but I appreciate the ability to purchase these in bulk
