The parts all glide smoothly against each other. The spring buttons all seem to be strong and long-lasting, and line up well with the holes. The fabric and plastic parts are all very sturdy and seem like they will last a long time. The first few times it was a little stiff to open and set up, but after a few times, it slid open much easier.The instruction graphics on the nice quality carrying bag could have been a little bigger and/or better illustrated. Also, the "anti-sink pad" is not mentioned in the instructions. (It is kind of like a snowshoe, to put on the bottom of the chair legs, to keep the chair from sinking into sand.) Afterwards we checked the ad, and it is mentioned there, although not in the instructions on the carrying bag.The chair is not super comfortable - the chair back leans back at an angle, so you have to stretch out your legs in front of you in a recliner-like position to keep from feeling like you are going to fall over backward. The chair also sits a little low.However, the chair is so lightweight and folds up into such a small bag that the convenience is worth the lack of comfort.I would highly recommend it for situations, such as camping, when the weight and storage space of a chair are of such high importance.

3 stars based because it does work as a camp chair, but there are things I don’t like.The chair weights almost three pounds which is a bit heavy for a backpacker. The construction is just ok and not confidence inspiring. There is definitely some wobble in this chair and a lot of flexing with the supports. It is comfortable and does feature a handy side pocket for accessories.The main issue I have with this chair is the folding mechanism. It’s hard to use especially when packing it back up. It took a lot of force to get the legs to slide back in place.With that said, I could see a use case for this chair for individuals who would like an outdoor chair and have difficulty with assembling the more traditional style ones where you have to attach the cover with a lot of force- this chair, it’s already attached which makes it easy to open.Overall, it’s a decent chair with it’s own way of deploying in a rather unique way, but the breakdown, stability, and weight were draw backs for me.

This camping chair is so cool. It folds down super small to where you could put it in your backpack that still sets up to a decent size dog can actually sit in comfortably. I’ve had other camping chairs that were cheaper designs differently that were more like a children’s chair for the size ones they were set up. This one has decent height off the ground, as well as a nice pocket to hold your stuff. You just need to be careful when setting it up, you don’t want to pinch the top in the center mechanism that the arms lock into. It can jam it in place and make it very difficult to get it back out. I accidentally did it the first time I opened it up. It’s a bit pricey for this design of chair, but it is very well-made And has a solid feel for a compact, portable camping chair.

If your tall or heavy set this chair is not for you. I was not expecting this to be as small as it is. It also is very low to the ground. It fits my 13-year-old pretty good. My husband sat in it and he's about 6'1 and 300 lb and he looked really funny sitting in this chair. He says it was very uncomfortable for his knees. And it's hard to get out of once sitting. I was pretty impressed that it held his weight. My husband set it up and he says it's pretty simple after seeing the directions. Once you're sitting in it it's sturdy as long as you don't lean back too far, but if you just looked at it you wouldn't think it would be. I personally would not choose a chair like this for the amount of money that they are asking for it. I feel that this is more like a $30 or $40 type chair. Since the chair is so small it would be nice to use for hiking or just throwing in the back of your car if you need it for some kind of sports event or something but for camping I would say get something more comfortable and sturdier. One interesting thing it does have on the chair is a extra piece of fabric that goes on the bottom so it doesn't sink into the sand at the beach. This fabric also helps keeping it sturdy.

This camping chair is perfect for backpacking, taking to sports events or even for the backyard. It was easy to set up once I saw how simple it was. I was expecting something more complex. As far as comfort is concerned, I have fairly short legs and it was very comfortable when I sat down and leaned into it. It packs light and is not like most camp chairs that are much larger and heavier. If I'm going camping, this chair is coming with me!
