The 5-speed settings give strong airflow, and the mist spray really helps beat the heat. It clips securely to my belt or shirt and stays put while I move around. Super lightweight and comfortable to wear all day. Battery life is great, and the power bank feature is a bonus. If you work outside like I do, this is a must-have!

This wearable fan is decently strong and mounts well without blocking airflow. It’s effective for general cooling and works great for outdoor activities. The misting function could be stronger and more consistent — that’s the only reason it loses a star. The battery life is pretty decent and it lasts me the full day of on and off use always on high. It's lightweight so it won't pull down your waist if you decide to hook it to your pants. Besides the weak misting function, it’s a practical and well-designed little fan and a decent value.

Once charged, this fan worked wonderful. There are five speeds to the fan and the 3rd to 5th speed seemed like they would be great in some serious heat. I filled the tank with filtered water. It comes with a silicon funnel to make filling the tank easy. The instructions say it comes with a funnel and dropper, but there was no dropper. I suggest filling it slowly because it fills fast and to avoid overflowing. The mist that comes out is very fine droplets, like a cloud. You can adjust it to mist continuously or to have 3 second pauses. It also includes a neck lanyard that is adjustable. There is a large clip on one side of the unit for clipping onto a waistband or belt and there is a smaller clip on the other side that is to be used in case you need to hold clothes away from the unit so they don't cover the air intake opening at the bottom on the unit. One of the things that attracted me the most about this fan, that you don't always see in other brands, is this fan has a little stand so you can prop it up on a table, like a nightstand. I have heard there can be some hotels in Europe without AC and that this kind of fan can be a life-saver. It does make some noise, the higher the fan speed, but you could also consider it white noise while trying to sleep in the heat. One of the things I appreciate about this product are the very detailed, good font size, and clear operating instructions that come with it. The application I will be using this fan most for is beekeeping. A bee suit can get tremendously hot and it's really hard to rescue swarms or do a cut-out when you have sweat running down your face. I plan to wear this around my neck in the veil area. I hope the bees don't mind! This is a great little personal fan that will get plenty of use by me. I recommend it for you too.

The fan seems less interested in distributing the mist than in politely avoiding it altogether. The product is far inferior to a portable misting handheld fans in cooling, in wind spread, in ease of putting in water, in weight and even in price! And you can hang a handheld around your neck and position it to blow right onto your face without actually needing to hold it, just like this waist fan does, except the cool air is much closer to you and it's not pulling down your pants. So why get this? I honestly love misting fans and wanted to try this one because it was the first "waist" misting fan I ever saw, and now I know why they aren't as popular. My generosity extends to acknowledging that it does, in fact, blow and turn on, and its ability to clip to one's person is noted, if not celebrated. Still, I can't abide by the price of this thing when you can get a ten dollar misting handheld that's better in every way, and lighter to boot!

4.0 out of 5 stars Would Definitely Recommend For Those Sensitive To Heat
This item works very well. I have had a couple bad cases of heat stroke and am prone to overheating. I clipped this to the side of my belt blowing the mist and air up my shirt, and found it to be very pleasant and cooling. The mist is extremely fine and does not waterlog you or your clothing. It just adds to the cooling effect of the fan. My walk was about a half hour, and the unit was still blowing strong and producing mist when I finished. I did use distilled water as the instructions recommend. I wear pretty baggy T-shirts, so this was not an issue for me, but it is quite thick and would be difficult to use in this manner if you were wearing a snugger fit shirt. I was walking alone, so there was no conversation, but the fan while very powerful and fast, is a bit loud if you were trying to chat with someone. That being said, there are always tradeoffs. I'm sure if it were quieter, the volume of air would be lower. While this isn't that big a deal, if using as a waist fan, the fan and mist switches are on the bottom, so you really need to turn it on before putting it on your waistband or belt, and off after removal. Overall, a very cool little device that I would recommend for those sensitive to the heat.
