4.0 out of 5 stars A step up from stock insoles

I picked these up hoping they'd be a good, slightly less expensive alternative. She reports that they're definitely a big step up from the insoles that come with shoes: they're soft and a bit supportive. They're sized correctly - she wears size 8.5 shoes, and the size 8-8.5 fits perfectly in her shoes, without being too thick.Unfortunately, she doesn't find them as supportive as the name brand ones she usually wears, and still had foot pain after a few hours. If your main concern is softness, these are a good choice. But, at least in my wife's experience, they're not ideal for support. Of course, everyone's feet are different, and we definitely don't think these are bad insoles. Just not as good for her as the name brand.
5.0 out of 5 stars comfortable and great fit
I got the 10-10.5 men size and they slipped right in to my 10.5 mens moab merrill walking shoes with no trimming needed. firm plastic and foam heel and cushioned front. i got the high arch model and did not find the arches too high, but i have fairly high arches so no surprise there. materials seem to be high quality. they come with a "1000 mile guarantee". while i sincerely doubt they will last that long, they seem tough enough that they will probably last longer than any other off-the-shelf brands of insoles. (i hike a lot and have done a couple of 2000-mile+ hikes over the past decade and know a thing or two about footwear longevity :) ). but if i do get a thousand miles out of them in the next year or two i will certainly come back to report on that.bottom line: robust and comfortable. very happy so far after 20 or so miles on them
4.0 out of 5 stars Blumaka Comfort Insoles - Better than not having insoles, but not as nice as some I have
Positives are the option to order different levels of arch support and they are made from recycled content. They definitely provide some much needed arch support and additional cushioning. I have a pair of cute sneakers with no arch support and little padding, and I was able to wear them without pain using these.Negative is I can't say I was as comfortable as I have been with other arch support insoles I have used in these sneakers. These do not feel as soft and cushiony. The others I have used were less expensive as well. So, I like these - they will be put to use - but I don't love them. They won't be joining my two favorite pairs of insoles, and I would not purchase at the current price point ($59.95 at time of review).
4.0 out of 5 stars They don't absorb creek water. Volume about the same as 2nd socks in hiking boot.
I tossed these into my daily farm and dog hiking shoes. The fit perfectly into size 10. The volume was the same as the second socks required for boot fit. I trash boot at about 6 months or 500 miles. The quilted insoles on my expensive boot was at failure. These will give me another 2 months or 300 miles then slide into another pair. These are comfortable (like I expected the Hokas to be). I can't feel the rocks on the trail. I only have 30 miles on them now but I am very happy. They don't get wet when I cross the creek. All the stabby extra in my feet aren't nagging me as I walk.
5.0 out of 5 stars Fits my shoes and feet nicely
These inserts seemed a little too bumpy when I first put them on. But, I started liking them almost right away. The part at the side of the heels are wider than the ones I had in my shoes. Good replacement for me. So far, the inserts stay in my shoes without sliding around at all. Comfortable to walk in. I've even gone without socks a few times. I don't know how long they'll last, I like that my feet aren't sliding around in the shoes with these.
2.0 out of 5 stars Just not what my wife was needing!
These insoles slipped into my wife's sneaker with ease. They were the right size and shape, and did not need trimmed (for reference, her sneakers are size 6.5, and these are rated 6 to 6.5). The have a thick cushion, but it's not real squishy or cushiony. It's also not real bendable or flexible, making her foot work harder to flex during "power walks".The issue my wife has with them is that the arch is higher than it should be. She's gotten "medium arch" insoles before, and they've worked well, but these, at least at first, and maybe due to the non-cushioning effect, are too high in the arch, on the instep side of the shoe, causing an area of increased pressure, and reduced comfort, even painful after about a half hour.Perhaps the "low arch" version would have worked okay for her, but given the stiffness of the "cushion", and the inflexibility of the sole, plus the higher-than-expected arch, it's all adds up to just 2 stars for my wife. If you get a smaller arch than you expect to need, you may find them great -- they certainly appear very well made and durable!
3.0 out of 5 stars Similar options out there that are more affordable
Hubby is hard on his shoes due to his line of work and new insoles help to get more life out of them before they deteriorate too much. I normally get him more reasonably priced insoles like $25 or less but decided to try these high end ones to see if it's really worth it. In my opinion it's not. These are almost the same price as a new pair of shoes and his opinion is that they aren't as cushy and comfortable as the others I've gotten for him.Depending on your foot health issues, harder insoles might be more comfortable so I can't necessarily say that they are bad. They are indeed true to size and fit perfectly in his shoes. He hasn't had them long enough to determine if they truly last 1000 miles. I guess it depends on your preference but I think there are better options out there that are more affordable and practical.
4.0 out of 5 stars Very Nice Arch Supports!
Very nice arch supports. I had to cut a little off the toe end to fit them into my shoes, but otherwise, felt good right from the beginning. I can't comment on how long they'll last, since I've only had them a week. They are comfortable and have medium arch support, which is what I ordered. I took off one star because of the high price point - $60. I doubt I'd pay that much for them, since there are many alternatives. However, I'm still enjoying them!
