Much easier than gas washers
5.0 out of 5 stars Does as good a job as my 2400 psi, 6 HP gas-powered Campbell Hausfeld and must more convenient.
This review is for Electric Pressure Washer 1290PSI 20FT Hose and 35FT Power Cord from the WISSIPRO Store, $129 on Bolo.Just a little background. I have a 6 HP 2400 psi Campbell Hausfeld gas powered pressure washer which cost me $400 in 2001 (Yikes!). I have used it occasionally but have held off using it for minor cleaning jobs since once the job was done I have always drained the fuel from its tank and let the engine run until out of gas (a bit of a pain). So when I saw this 1290 psi WISSIPRO electric pressure washer I figured I’d give it a try. I have to say I’m impressed.I cleaned the green mold gunk from my decks’ vinyl railings and from my two Rubbermaid-like storage ‘sheds’. Prior to the actual pressure wash I filled the pressure washer’s 450 ML Soap Bottle attachment with general purpose house cleaner. I had the pressure washer’s electric power shut off so the soap was only spraying with garden hose pressure (so the soap would not spray off the surface). For the actual pressure wash I installed the green-colored, 25 degree, moderate pressure nozzle and maintained ~2 inch to ~3 inch spray width. Like magic the green gunk came off in a single pass; not having to go back and repeat the process. The high pressure hose is 20 feet long. The 120 VAC power cord (16 AWG) is 35 feet long so you can place the sprayer where it is convenient, like near 120 VAC power source and on level ground. Here are some feature comparisons between this Electric unit and my gas-powered unit:With the gas powered pressure washer once the engine is running the pump is running. In order for the pump to not overheat water must always be passing through the pump. So when you are between passes you need to hold the gun while water sprays from it. With the electric pressure washer the pump only runs when you pull the gun’s trigger and are actually spraying water so no pump overheating issue. My gas powered pressure washer does allow you to adjust the width of the spray by adjusting the gun whereas this electric pressure washer needs to have the nozzle changed in order to adjust the pressure and spray width. But that was not a deal-breaker for me.I like the feature by which you can wind the high pressure hose using a hand crank. Power cord is just wrapped around a convenient side-mount holder.Nice to just be able to shut of the electric pressure washer when the job is done and store it in the garage until next time.In my mind this 1290 psi electric does as good a job as my 2400 psi gas-powered unit. So I can say with confidence that I won’t be using my gas-powered unit very often in the future.
4.0 out of 5 stars Impressed in the first hour of ownership
Unpacked and setup took about 25 minutes. Don’t be like me and forget to power the PW on… I was frustrated thinking the as seen on tv pressure washer wand was a better investment until I realized I had not powered it on.For my purposes, this is going to be an excellent pressure washer. I plan to use it for driveway, sidewalk, patio, house brick and occasional at home car washing.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very good quality pressure washer
I recently put the 1100 PSI electric pressure washer to work on my driveway and was pleasantly surprised by how effectively it blasted away years of grime. The four quick‑change nozzles let me switch from a gentle 40° fan for siding all the way to a pinpoint 0° jet for stubborn oil spots, and the foam cannon attachment made cleaning my car feel almost indulgent—thick suds clung to the paint before rinsing off effortlessly.Despite its compact size, the unit never struggled under continuous use. The 1 GPM flow rate kept the work moving swiftly, and the 35‑foot power cord gave me plenty of reach without dragging an extension cord around. I also appreciated the integrated soap reservoir for tighter spots like patio grout; simply filling and twisting in the soap cannon saved multiple trips back to the bucket.Assembly was intuitive: the spray wand clicks securely into the trigger gun, and the hoses snap into place with a reassuring “click.” The washer’s body feels sturdy, and the built‑in wheels made it easy to roll from the garage to the backyard. After several projects, including cleaning deck railings and outdoor furniture, it’s held up without leaks or loss of pressure.Overall, this pressure washer strikes a great balance between power and portability. It’s not as bulky as some gas models but delivers more than enough punch for routine home‑care tasks. For anyone looking to tackle dirt on cars, patios, or driveways without the noise and upkeep of a gas engine, this electric model is a dependable choice.
