As a devoted League of Legends fan, when I saw the "Epic Collectibles Pop League of Legends - Yone Vinyl Figure," my heart skipped a beat. Yone! In Pop form! With a "Box Protector Compatible for Funko"! It sounded like a dream. What arrived, however, was less a dream and more a slightly distorted nightmare.Let's start with the figure itself. Yone, the Unforgotten, the master of dual blades... reduced to a vinyl figure that looks like he's perpetually squinting into a strong light. The paint job on mine was, to put it mildly, "impressionistic." His iconic mask had a smudge that looked suspiciously like a tiny, misplaced eyebrow, and one of his swords appeared to have been painted by a squirrel with a shaky paw. It's less "Epic Collectible" and more "Epic Disappointment."Then there's the "Box Protector Compatible for Funko." This sounded like a thoughtful addition, a shield against the cruel realities of dust and accidental knocks. In reality, it was a flimsy plastic shell that seemed more interested in attracting static cling than protecting anything. It arrived with a scratch that looked like Yone himself had tried to escape it, and once the figure was inside, the "clarity" was compromised by a permanent, dull glare. My Yone now lives in a perpetually hazy plastic prison.The overall quality just feels... cheap. For a character as cool and complex as Yone, I expected something with a bit more heft, a bit more attention to detail. Instead, he feels like he might topple over if a strong breeze passes by, and his pose is less dynamic and more "awkwardly standing in line for coffee." NOTE: HE DOESN'T STAND AND CONSTANTLY TOPPLES OVER NO MATTER WHAT - POOR QUALITY.In conclusion, if you're a die-hard Yone fan hoping for a worthy representation of your favorite champion, manage your expectations. This figure is a testament to the fact that not all collectibles are created equal. My desk now has a slightly sad, slightly smudged Yone figure, and I'm left wondering if the "unforgotten" part refers to the money I spent on it. One star, would not collect again.
