This shaving gel does what it says, gives me a nice clean, smooth shave every morning. My face feels soft and hydrated afterward. The vanilla tobacco scent is pleasant without being too strong and kind of smells like a pipe tobacco. It only takes a little for a good shave so this tube should last awhile. I have to shave daily for my job and this gel makes the task a little more enjoyable.

This shave gel gave me an amazingly smooth shave, the best I’ve had in memory. It’s the real deal in that regard. The gel is thick and concentrated so while the tube is just 5 oz., only a nickel to quarter size amount is needed per shave. A tube should last a while. And absolutely no nicks and cuts. Personally I did not detect any hint of bold tobacco vanilla, but I’m fine with that just the same.That said, I can’t give it a 5-star rating because, to me, the product description regarding its “clean” ingredients is somewhere between ambiguous and deceptive. This is compounded by the lack of disclosure of the exact ingredients anywhere on the product page. I’ve attached a photo of the ingredients listed on the tube for your reference.As you can see, there are no parabens or sulfates as promised and there are many natural ones. But the ingredient list is far from being clean, it’s just “cleaner.” I’m not thrilled about PEG-12 Dimethicone. The synthetic ingredients in the formula are among the least concerning in the personal care industry, so there is that. But I still don’t like it when companies market a product as clean because the absolute worst ingredients are absent and a few natural ones are mixed in. Just be transparent and let consumers make an educated choice.

This is a fantastic shaving gel with a great scent. It's labeled tobacco vanilla but to be more accurate it smells like an aromatic vanilla pipe tobacco, a nice and pleasant old-school smell. I use a double edged safety razor to shave and this shaving gel works great for that. I have a mustache and goatee currently and use three drops slightly larger that pea sized to shave and it works really well. I just put a drop on each cheek and in the middle under my jaw and I'm able to lather my whole face with those. My razor glides easily across this foamed gel and it leaves my skin feeling nice and moisturized. No razor burn while using this. Between that, how easy it is to use, and the heavenly smell, it's made my shaving sessions more enjoyable. Great quality product at a good price.

This shave gel is not what I was expecting, but I was impressed. I was surprised when it came out clear. I used just a little dab and it spread over my whole beard. I had a good stubble and it didn't foam but it lathered and softened it. The smell was nice with tobacco that drifts into spice or cinnamon. I do like for of a thick lather, but one reapply of the gel worked too and it doesn't take much. I think this works best in the shower when you keep up with your shave every day.

Unique shaving gel - using my shaving brush a very small amount of the gel creates an incredible amount of shaving lather that is thick and stays on my face without drying out - absolutely love the scent and softens my tough beard allowing me to get a smooth and great shave leaving my skin nice and hydrated. Absolutely love it - great for either use in my bathroom or good to add to my toiletry bag for travel as the tube is not too tall and fits easily.

My dad didn't want to try this, so I used it to shave my legs instead.Pros: Worked great!- smooth shave, with soft skin afterwards-very easy, (squeeze a drop on your hand, and rub where you want to shave to get a nice lather)-decent price for the bottle-DELICIOUS SMELL! Genuinely smells heavenly.-Paraben Free, so no bad harsh chemicals!Cons: The lather dissolves rather quickly, so by the time I was almost done finishing shaving my leg, it pretty much had all dissolved.Overall, would recommend!
