I am single and live alone. I have a king size down comforter inside a protective liner which all goes inside a duvet cover. There are a lot of layers to keep even on a king size. I used these pins to help get it all put together. I started with the pins across the top of all 3 layers to get the duvet cover on. Once I had the duvet cover on, I moved the 4 pins to the foot end of the duvet triple layer. The pin grips the tip cover well and wont come off unless I push the release button. I left all 4 pins in the foot of the duvet so I can easily shake out the duvet without losing any layers. The pins are sturdy and easy to work with. They saved me time getting the duvet back together. I find this to be a quality product for the price and would buy more if I were to buy another duvet.

Despite having dealt with duvets and their covers for years now, I've never thought to try anything like these clips before. However, I may have to get some for my own covers and quilts now - they work super well!The pin is pretty long and stabby, but the snap-and-click button on the other side locks so it can't slip free. I actually had one of the safety pins I was using before work itself loose, so assuming the lock works as it should, this will definitely be safer.Overall, I'm super pleased with these duvet clips and I'll probably be ordering more!
