This sim card does not perform as well as some of the other options. I have two identical cameras within 50' of each other. One with this brand of sim and the other with a competing sim brand. The kiwi sim camera struggles to connect nearly every time.Initial activation was easy but you aren't confident that you have actually completed the process. There are better options available.

This is such a nice data-only SIM card. For 50GB and 2 years, it’s a great value. I use it with my portable hotspot and it works flawlessly. Setup was simple. Just scan the included card, insert the SIM, restart the device, and you're good to go.I carry it with me on the road and it gives me peace of mind knowing I have backup data when I need it. The coverage has been solid in most areas, and I average around 15 to 30 Mbps, which is more than enough for emails, maps, and light streaming.This has been incredibly valuable for my business when I need to get online quickly and reliably.Highly recommended for anybody needing reliable mobile data on the go.

UPDATE:After a frustrating process with KiwiSim Support via their website / app, I reached out to them via Bolo Messaging. They responded appropriately when messaged through Bolo seller messaging, and didn’t get the runaround I got before.I will be using this Sim Card in a Kiwisim router, and per KiwiSim’s response, this card can be activated on that device.ORIGINAL REVIEWI have not used this KiwiSim card and am dealing with their customer support in trying to activate it. My general experience with Kiwisim is their cards work well in their own devices, and not so well in third party devices.While it's true that they respond "within 24 hours", they always respond overnight as they are clearly in Asia. No problem there, but their strategy seems to be to ask the question 1 regarding your order info, then when you answer, they then ask question 2 about your order info, then you answer, and then they ask question 1 again. Each time takes an overnight exchange.I'm giving this a 3 star rating for now, and I'll update up or down depending on my outcome.Just FYI, for those who are evaluating this, you need to be able to set the APN on your trail cam to use this card. Not all card require an APN to be set, and not all trail cams support changing the APN. If you're unsure, I'd double check before purchasing.

I got this 4G LTE data SIM to use with my Kiwi Hotspot that I keep in my Tesla for periodic road trips, and it’s worked well so far. What really liked was the 50GB could be used over two years, which is perfect for the kind of sporadic use I need. Setup was simple and showed active right away. The speed was adequate for general surfing and homeschooling websites we use when travelling. Normal plans end after much shorter periods, so having plenty of time to use is an improvement, but the cost is steep for this ability. I suggest crunching the numbers to see what your use is versus expiration period.Bottom Line: This SIM card is ideal for low-usage, long-term applications like mobile hotspots in vehicles, especially if you want coverage that lasts without monthly fees or contracts. This would also work well for other low use devices or as a backup for your router's land connection, if it supports that ability as Unifi routers do.
