Watched alot of videos and read reviews before purchasing this bike. Out of the box this thing was legit! I had to adjust the set up it needed tweaked a little bit had to adjust brakes but the derailer alignment and gearing was all good to go. This thing kicks ass! It is fine to ride without the battery and it rides like any other mountain bike. Can't even tell you have the little bit of extra weight. Charged the battery and rode after I had everything all set up how I wanted it. The e bike ride experience is awesome my bike tops out at 32 mph didn't cross check that with GPS but this thing rips through almost any terrain. So much fun this thing is gonna get alot of use! UPDATE: I would strongly suggest buying a set of grips for longer rides, and mirrors if you don't have bike lanes or find yourself on the road. Drivers are crazy! Additional update I've taken this on some actual mountain bike trails and it performs not exactly comfortable to ride on the rugged trails, but it performs like a mountain bike. Alot of people have complained about the tires I have had really good luck 120 miles in and still on the original tires and tubes and I've had this bike through almost everything I could take it through. This has been worth every penny!

I am very happy I bought this bike. The value for what you get is outstanding. That is what I'm basing my review on.Tops out at about 28MPH. Put about 73 miles on this bike so far and it has been great. Especially after I upgraded the seat and seat post to provide some suspension. Drastically changed the comfort of the ride. Yeah, the tires are not great and wear very very quickly if you have to break fast and do any sort of skid. Battery life is good, and you can always carry another battery just in case. Build quality seams better than average.

BEWARE! The tires need to be replaced immediately! Bought this bike for my son and a correctly inflated tire burst in the first week causing an accident with injury.PASS on the fender/rack option. These items are very low quality, poorly designed and poorly manufactured.The bike arrived without damage and went together well. The disc brakes needed a little adjustment but that is easy to do. YouTube it.With quality tires this is a fun bike.
