These are great lanyards for anyone doing work where you need to keep your tools handy and not drop them to the ground. Whether you are trimming limbs from a tree, installing a ceiling fan, lighting etc.. these will help keep your tools from leaving the work zone! I had several projects recently (installing awning on shed, lean to support brackets and lighting) and I fastened my electrical pliers and a roll of tape with them. They worked great and as expected. The length can be altered based on how you attach the equipment to them which was really handy. I did not want the pliers dropping down and hitting me in the knee. I simply adjusted the attachment by doubling it up and had zero issues.

If you’re doing work high up on a ladder or roof, you know that it can be a challenge to not drip your tools. Dropping a tool could cause harm to people/pets/property below, not to mention it wastes time. So I ordered these tool leashes that I can secure to my work belt or safety harness. These work fine, I just wish the quality was a little better. The stitching is a bit sloppy and the carabiner is cheap aluminum. They will probably work just fine, I just appreciate quality that lasts.

Understand that these are for securing tools so they don't fall off of elevated platforms, ladders, etc. They are not for fall protection of people. The stated limit of these lanyards is about 22#. The lanyards do have some stretchability built in and will soften the shock when the tool hits the end of the lanyard. I think these would work great for hammers, drill motors, and so forth. I am also going to be using mine to secure my fishing rods on my kayak. This should provide some additional amount of "insurance" should my rod slip out of the rod holder or my hands.I think they would also work as a shock absorber for those defiant little dogs that insist on running full out until they hit the end of their stationery leash. It could keep them from hurting themselves.The price of four lanyards with these features seemed very reasonable and I will be using them for quite a while.

Tool tethers are important for the safety of those below, as well as the convenience for those at elevation. Also good to keep things from getting lost.These appear well made, but lighter duty, than others I have.Approximately 23” relaxed; 33” stretched. Plus, 13” loop of non-stretching cord to attach to the tool / item.Interesting, 2-hole, spring, cord lock. Light duty carabiner-appears to be aluminum body, not stainless steel.Good for lighter items. Not recommended for heavier items, such as power tools, etc.

These 20-lb capacity lanyards are the perfect “insurance policy” when working up on a ladder. I use them to keep a tether on every one of my critical tools so that I never drop anything important. (My kids are all adults now and off living their own lives, so I no longer have little unpaid helpers underfoot to quickly retrieve the things I drop.)

These are definitely coming in handy for me. I like how long they can extend to and how the color of the orange stands out. the carabiners seem cheaply made but they do work as expected. The can fit just about any tool I use which is nice and they are very light so no added weight.
