Middle-aged guy with a decent beard here. Tried Wonder Family’s balm—solid stuff. Not greasy, no smell at all, and showed up the next day like it owed me money. Would definitely buy again (after I test a few others, of course).

I like, but don't love, this beard balm. On the plus side it was effective at hydrating my beard and keeping the dry skin that I sometimes get at bay. It was easy to apply and was scent free, which I actually like. On the negative side it left a bit of a greasy feel to my beard throughout the day and didn't dry/absorb quite like the description implied. Overall, I'd still recommend this for keeping your beard well cared for.

I am new(er) to the beard growing community - or at least a freshman when it comes to grooming a beard. But this is exactly what I was looking for. I've been getting an itchy chin and lots of flyaways lately and it was time to take action. I guess what I like most about this balm is that it is scent-free. The packaging and the tin the product comes in is sturdy and attractive in a manly way. This is more of a wax than a cream. So, you have to 'circle' your fingers around the tin to loosen it up and get it on your fingers. Creams can be messy and can 'glob' on too much. But this goes on neatly and modestly. My face doesn't feel oily... in fact, I don't really 'feel' much at the moment - which is good because I stroke my beard constantly - I don't want my hands to get greasy. My beard feels smooth, like it should feel. The itch has subsided a bit since I first put the balm on and I am excited to see how it tames the flyaways over time.

Unscented does not mean that it is completely free of any smell. This stuff smells chemicaly and is greasy. It gave me a headache. No thanks.

After reading the ingredients this is a great product to use in your beard. I use several of the same ingredients along with Beeswax to help with holding.As a balm it helps with dry skin, this causes itchiness. It moisturizes and softens the skin and hairs.It does not have a scent which is very nice for those sensitive to smells.Overall, I think this is a very effective and high-quality product.On a side note, the packaging is great. My Cane Corso got ahold of the package before I could put it away and it held up to his chewing.

I bought this beard balm for my husband to try out since he likes experimenting with different beard products. He really liked that it helped soften his beard and reduced itchiness. It didn’t completely fix the itch, but it definitely helped. It also tames his big, frizzy Santa-style beard and keeps it from getting too wild.He liked that it has no scent. While he sometimes enjoys scented products, he appreciated that this one was unscented—especially good for anyone sensitive to smells.As for straightening, we didn’t really notice that effect. But to be fair, he’s not trying to straighten his beard—he wants to keep the full, fluffy look. It also didn’t seem to promote growth, but again, his beard is already thick, so that’s not something he was focused on.At $15 for 2 oz, it’s a good deal for something that helps with beard softness, frizz, and itch. If you’re sensitive to scent or just want something simple that works, this is worth trying.
