You just flip it to the side with the time you want, and it starts automatically. No buttons it's very ADHD-friendly in that regard. It has a silent mode so you aren’t distracted with beeps while it’s counting down.If you plan to work for an hour, flip it to the 50-minute side. When it’s done, just flip it to 10 for your break. Super easy.To pause the timer, just lay it on its back. To resume, flip it back to the active timer side.Important to note: If you flip it to another time before the current one finishes, it resets and starts the new countdown. The feature where you just flip the timer to whatever side you want to count down, and the specific countdown times is perfect for creating a quick timer for anything. I was coloring my hair the other day and needed to set a timer, and just flipped this over, and the amount of time was perfect.ALSO - if the time you need isn't exactly what you are getting for the default timers (which I highly suggest just leaving unless there is a specific timer length that you are always using), you can just flip it mid way through one setting and put it on another. Or stack multiple times to get the one you want.It's perfect in that you don't have to set your phone, you don't have to push any buttons, you just flip it so the number is facing up - and it goes.

Great idea executed well. I really like this timer because with the flip of the timer, you can set it for four different times and even pause it. I also like that it doesn’t need batteries and you can just plug it in with a C charger. there are a couple of buttons on the back and it did come with instructions, but I started using it right away. I also like that it has off switch so I don’t waste its power the dial on the front, I really appreciate how it has two different colors and it counts down and it ticks down as well. I like to use this while I’m working, but it also has many other uses. I can use it in the kitchen while cooking. I can use it in several other ways like like trying to teach my son how to wash his hair for a certain amount of time.ConsHa! No cons! I can see other variations for 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, and 60 minutes. But I like this one a lot!
