So, this review happened in realtime. One of family members had a UTI and one didn’t. We tested the strips with each person and the one that had UTI came up positive. So it works.

It's only in the last 3 years that I started getting urinary tract infections somewhat regularly and last month I started getting the symptoms on a Saturday. I had to use a telemed service to get help. Got an antibiotic that seemed to help and I finished the 5 day course, only to have the symptoms return the following Sunday! That time I was told to go to an urgent care. It finally cleared up. I got these test strips in the meantime knowing they would be helpful in the future and I was right. See, I also get frequent kidney stones and a lot of the times that I do, I get some symptoms that could be mistaken for a uti. So when that happened last weekend, why does it always happen on a weekend?! I used the test strip and was able to see that it was likely inflammation from a kidney stone. So instead of going to another urgent care or using telemed, and spending more on that than the cost of the prescription, I held off. It was the right call. Sure enough, the kidney pain kicked in and there was no infection. I was able to see a doctor on a weekday just to confirm and get treated. Having these test strips is the assurance I need. No second guessing, no unnecessary co-pays. I'm not saying people should rely solely on these tests, but for someone who knows their body and doesn't want to see a doctor at the first sign of the possibility, or wants to confirm a uti before the symptoms become extremely uncomfortable, I would recommend keeping these in your medicine cabinet. I absolutely think it's worth it.

My wife was experiencing symptoms she thought may be a result of a urinary tract infection so we got this test kit to try.The instructions in the pamphlet were clear and easy to read and to follow. It is important to read the instructions as it states to dip the test strip into your urine sample when it is at room temperature, so taking a sample midstream would result in inaccurate test results.My wife collected her sample in something like this, https://www.Bolo.com/Vakly-Graduated-Specimen-Collector-Pans/dp/B01IU5ZCK4/ref=sr_1_1?s=hpc, and sat it aside for a few minutes before dipping the test strip into the urine sample. The results were clearly displayed on the strip in one minute, and were easy to read following the included chart.There is a QR code to download an app to record results, visualize tends, etc. We have not downloaded app at this time.We also found that we appreciated and resonated with the company philosophy as spelled out in the instruction pamphlet. We would definitely recommend this product.

These UTI test strips are arrived exactly as pictured. Maybe TMI, but as someone who suffers from interstitial cystitis AND occasional UTIs, having these test strips on hand at home is SO incredibly helpful in determining if/when I actually need to get in to the doctor for an antibiotic, or if I just need to wait it out at home for a couple days for the IC symptoms to pass.NOT having to pay the office visit copay and lab fees only to find out it's just the IC flaring up is a huge help financially. And conversely, knowing right away when/if it IS probably a UTI means I can go in to get started on an antibiotic sooner rather than later. Without the test strips I'd just be sitting around for a week (or more) just trying to manage IC symptoms and hope they'll go away on their own.I got these for free through Bolo's Vine program this time around, but when I've used them all up (hopefully not any time soon, but with IC you never know) I'll definitely purchase again. The $15 price for this pack of 25 is a heck of a lot better than the little 3-packs I used to get from RiteAid or Walgreens.

As anyone who suffers from UTIs knows, they can be tricky to assess. Many times I have gone in to urgent care knowing that I had a UTI but not testing positive for one because I went in too early; if I’d waited another day or so, then the tests would confirm the infection. Well, with this kit I can now test to see when a UTI is in full swing and get the care I need on the first visit instead of having to come back a few days later for a second try. The kit doesn’t include a urine collection container and says it is optional; maybe just urinating on the test strip is sufficient since it only needs one to two seconds of contact, but I haven’t tried this yet.
