I wanted to get into retro gaming again, playing on the phone with controllers never felt great. It’s the perfect size for emulation, runs everything I’ve tried without issues. It’s lightweight, easy to set up, with a sharp screen, decent sound, and responsive controls. Great battery too.What really surprised me was the cloud gaming through game pass, works way better than a few years back, and the controller works without issue. Steam link really surprised me how well it connected. I was able to play my AAA games and not be tied to the PC.This really was the all in one device I wanted to all gaming types.

It easily connected to my Wi-Fi, and I was streaming Elden Ring, Forza Horizon 5, and Hi-Fi Rush with minimal latency. As long as you have a stable internet connection, it genuinely feels like playing directly on a console. And the best part? I can launch Chrome or other cloud gaming services too, so it’s incredibly versatile. Having access to my entire PC library from anywhere — hotel rooms, coffee shops, even my backyard — is an absolute game-changer.Battery Life:Battery life is another standout feature. I was able to game for around 6+ hours straight on a single charge while streaming my Steam library from my PC — very impressive for a device with this size and screen quality. I've experienced very smooth gameplay with minimal latency, even while playing demanding titles. The image quality is crisp and vibrant, making for an enjoyable viewing experience. I've been able to enjoy extended streaming sessions without worrying about recharging. It’s significantly lighter than my ROG Ally, which has been a welcome change.The Joystick Consideration:The only potential drawback is the joysticks. Actually my second time buying this.
As it turns out, I bought this device before and ended up giving it to someone. Fast forward nearly half a year later and I miss that low friction, low weight, great ergonomics, dedicated device for streaming purposes.I bought a new one! It's so near perfect (for what it is meant for) but the one thing I am no fan of is quite subjective, the analogs. I wish the finish on them wasn't as soft. A small detail for which I didn't remove a star, plus I fixed it with separately purchased thumbcaps (see pictures).To me, the risk with this device is this exact situation: "I bought a car because I wanted to fly." If anyone expects that, they will be deceived because it's not that device, and let it be very clear, it's not marketed as such either. But if it is bought thinking: "I want a great device for streaming." You're about to have everything you wished for, that is why I bought it again.I know what it is, I know how I'll use it and that's as far as I need to think about this. Great screen, great audio, great features, rumble is there, gyro is there. Time to sink in some gaming time. Cheers!
Really impressive streaming handheld, good for some Android gaming too
My experience with this so far has been excellent, it does exactly what I needed from it and more.I picked this up mainly as a streaming device, for either services such as Luna or Geforce Now, or from my own PC using Moonlight or Steam Link.The hardware surprised me (in a good way). The screen feels massive, it's pretty comparable to the Steam Deck, but much thinner and lighter. See pictures for a comparison with my two favourite handhelds, the Steam Deck OLED and Retroid Pocket 5. It's a nice middle ground between those two, feels great, particularly given how surprisingly light it is. The controls feel good, the sticks in particular are a lot better than other Android handhelds I've tried.The software is pretty great. It's standard Android (with access to the Play Store), but also includes a gaming mode which works well with controller. It shows your installed games and also integrates more deeply with some cloud streaming services (in my case Xbox Game Pass). Definitely among the better Android handheld experiences I've had.I mainly got this for streaming, but it's also capable enough for some native gaming. I've played some favourites like Crypt of the Necrodancer, which looks excellent on the screen. Looking forward to trying out some more Android games when I'm not streaming games.

I'm so happy! Super easy to use portable console. Pleasant in hand and light. I was able to test it with the Xbox Live cloud, and it works really well. No bugs, no slowdowns. It seems solid to me for the moment, we'll see at the first tell. Very responsive touch screen. I'm just a little afraid of scratches. We should see if there are protections or something else. very happy, I recommend it.
