It also contains preservatives and fragrance. It has a pleasant scent that isn’t overbearing. To me, it smells like the promised rosemary with a little peppermint. I don’t have high hopes for the topical biotin, although it’s known to add luster.I often struggle with the pump mechanism on bottles, but this one wasn’t too bad. After a little twisting and fussing, it popped up and became usable. It began to dispense the product effectively after being primed several times. The shampoo has excellent lather, so I don’t need to use a lot. it leaves my hair looking clean and shiny.
