This little device has worked well for my dry and irritated eyes upon waking. Both the steam and the heat are subtle and gentle. If you are looking for something that gets very warm and/or shoots water, this is not that. It is not an eye wash device for rinsing your actual eyes. Instead, it releases steam to your closed eye to help with eyelid/under eye area issues, and is a good alternative to a warm moist compress when you want a similar effect without contacting the compress to your skin.The eye area contact attachment is made of silicone and is easy to detach for cleaning. The water reservoir is small (as it doesn't use much) but the opening is large enough to make it easy to fill.The instructions are translated and have a few odd phrases that may make it slightly confusing at first. However, there are only 2 buttons involved in operation, and that part of the instructions is clear enough to figure out. You can pre-heat if you want warm steam, and the "on" button functions to start the steam or toggle it to intermittent steam.I do wish it were slightly heavier on the steam, but in the end, I really like this device and have found it helpful.

This vapor therapy replaces my dependence on artificial tears. The hot and humid feeling is very soothing and I love it.
