There are a few downsides, but from a material point of view, it performs excellent.It is very thick (Full size) so be aware if you have the morse standard small stick glue gun at home, as you need the larger gun that can takes these full size sticks.Instead of short straight sticks, this one has a continuous coil, so you can keep going for a longer time without reloading, but there are a few downsides here for me. First, the coil is heavy and this makes the glue gun back heavy, so it is slightly unbalanced when you work with precision projects, like arts and crafts. Second. the material is a bit brittle and the coil was broken in some places wich might lead to feeding issues if you miss it. (I just cut the coil at theses breaks and then used each piece independently.)But on the positive side, this glue stick flows great at both temperatures (I use a dual temp gun - recommended) and at the lower temp you can get real precise flow for small projects.When you use it at the higher temp you can fill small silicon molds with it and make little art projects just out of this glue. And the best part here is that it comes out almost bubble free so it beats some resin material in this regards.So, overall I really loves these glue sticks and they offer great value for this low prices and are useful in large home repair projects as well as small arts and crafts.

The product itself looks fantastic. I am certain that it will perform as promised because it has all of the chemical properties of glue sticks that go into glue guns.I still am excited about it: 15 feet of glue ... well, technically 14'4" that I measured, give or take ...Unfortunately I did not know that there are different sizes of glue guns on the market for household use when I ordered this product. A small bit of consumer education in the marketing materials could have made a difference here. Now I have to order a larger glue gun in order to complete a project.EDIT: I ordered the correct size glue gun and this glue works fantastically. I have included a before and after picture of an upholstery project, completed with help from this glue.

Great idea for the glue guns! I have somewhere around 6 or more guns and use them in the woodworking shop and in the craft room. It is annoying to have to put in a new stick in the middle of a job. Some guns need you to force the next stick into the last stick. I think I need to have a second gun hot and ready to heat the ends of the two to glue them together! This is a problem solver! Now all I have to do is figure out how to decrease that permanent coil. I haven't worked on that issue yet. I have been using this on a big project and didn't want to stop to figure out the coil problem until I was done. I now have this long-coiled glue sticks for both regular and mini glue guns and I am so happy with this!

I like how long it is, but it is awkward to use in my ryobi hot gun. it fits perfectly, but you're having to constantly unwind it. Having long glue sticks was meant to make my job easier, but it is a little inconvenient.

The "roll" format is a brilliant innovation, making it so much more convenient than constantly feeding shorter sticks into my glue gun. The fact that each roll is a full 5 feet long means significantly fewer interruptions during projects, which is a huge time-saver and lets me maintain a consistent flow.The glue itself is excellent. I used SO many mini glue sticks on my last project so I ordered these to replenish my stock. Turns out I didn't read the description well enough: these ropes of hot glue are for a full size glue gun and I have a mini. (There are 3 ropes of 5 feet long glue ropes.) These look like good quality glue ropes and are nearly clear. I'm keeping these and now shopping for a full size glue gun!

Solid full-size glue sticks. I use hot glue for MANY uses and this works perfectly.The rolls can be cut into more manageable lengths should it be an issue for you.
