    please do not purchase this item. It was sold as a unit to cool 500 sq ft. I t cools the same area as a unit i have designed to cool 300 sq ft. POS!

    Instead of cooling my whole house with my central air and running up my electric bill, this unit is more than enough to cool my upstairs or downstairs in a flash. It's great if you have season allergies.

    I actually haven’t hooked it up yet. Picture online shows the hose runs along bottom of window,,,, well this one has that the window piece goes the long way,, who has a French style window???? So I’m going to improvise so it can fit the bottom of window like regular windows are so until I get it hooked up I’ll not rate it, for now it’s 2 stars it showed nothing on the box,, it was only on the instructions sheet after you open the hole box!!!
