If you're a fan of vanilla and tropical-inspired scents, this duo is definitely worth trying. The fragrance is soft, beachy, and a bit floral—like vanilla, coconut, and a breeze of island air all mixed together. It's light, airy, and fresh without being overpowering.The body wash lathers beautifully and leaves my skin feeling clean without dryness, and the lotion is lightweight, more like a serum than a thick cream. It absorbs quickly, leaves no residue, and still provides nice hydration. If you prefer something richer, Pacifica does make a body butter, too.The scent doesn’t last as long as I’d love, but it’s still beautiful while it’s there. The fact that it's vegan, cruelty-free, and made with plant-based ingredients is a huge plus. I love that the lotion has chamomile and is calming. Overall, this feels like a little tropical vacation in a bottle. I’ll definitely be repurchasing!

I have been using this scent for quite some time now and it has definitely changed. I was so bummed when I opened it and it smelled so different from the last time I purchased. Not sure if it really has been changed or was just expired, but either way, I wouldn't recommend. Love this brand usually but I miss the old Island Vanilla!

This body care set smells amazing! The vanilla fragrance is sweet but not overwhelming. The body wash is gentle on my skin, and the lotion leaves me feeling soft and moisturized. Perfect set for anyone with dry skin.

I love Pacifica, I have always enjoyed both their makeup and body products. This was new to me as a scent and product so I was very excited to get to review it!The ScentThe scent is very vanilla but also beachy, I think Island Vanilla is a pretty good name for it. I get vanilla, coconut, and maybe some flowery scents mixed together. It's a light scent, kind of airy, and also has an undercurrent of freshness. Obviously fragrance is challenging to describe to others and we each may perceive things differently, but overall I think if you enjoy vanilla and tropical type scents you will enjoy this. If you've ever had Victoria's Secret Vanilla Lace and enjoyed it, I think this is pretty close to that. It is also kind of like BBW vanilla scents, but this one from Pacifica is more complex than plain vanilla. To me, it's like a Hawaiian vacation in a bottle.Body WashThe body wash is very good, it makes a nice lather (I use it with a poof and that gives you extra mileage out of it.)LotionThe lotion is thin, closer to a serum consistency. It's a very nice product and moisturizes well, but it's not a cream type lotion. They do make a body butter if you're more into that thicker consistency. It dries quickly and does not leave a "glaze" or residue on the skin.Scent LongevityThe scent longevity could be better. Sadly, it does not linger that long. Maybe I just need a spray of this scent to layer over it.ValueThe bottles are a good size, will last quite a while, and so I think the value is good if you enjoy this type of scent. I'm a fan, so I think I'll be getting more when I run out.

I am enjoying this set of body wash and lotion. They are both vanilla scented and made in the USA. They are both full sized products and have convenient pumps on top for easy dispensing. The color of the lotion surprised me- it’s a light brown color, but don’t worry, when I rub it in it doesn’t leave any color behind on my skin. It absorbed nicely and didn’t leave it feeling greasy or sticky afterwards. I did detect a little bit of an almond extract scent in it. It’s not the best scented vanilla product I’ve ever used, if I’m being honest. But it’s also not terrible or anything. I would describe it as a more subtle vanilla scent, it’s definitely not overpowering. The body wash bottle is slightly larger and the product isn’t brown like the lotion, it’s clear. It lathered nicely and didn’t dry out my skin too much either. I scanned both of these products on my yuka app (it’s an app that tells you if the ingredients are safe or not)- the lotion scored a 47 out of a possible 100 points, which is considered “poor” due to the moderate risk of phenoxyethanol. However, the body wash scored an impressive 86 points which is considered “excellent” according to the app. I do like that these products are free from parabens, phthalates and sulfates. I feel it’s a decent value for 2 full sized products and I will continue using them.

Usually I love every single Pacifica product I try. I did NOT like this body wash/body lotion duo. I'm not sure what the scent is, but it did not smell like vanilla to me. Smelled sweet, like spoiled vanilla maybe. Or tanning lotion. Something like that. The brown coloring also threw me off. The consistency was fine, and so was the moisturizing, but I won't be ordering this set again.

Was surprised that the lotion was tinted a brown color. But love, love, love the body wash!
