I was a bit skeptical of this lift assist aid since I figured how much do I really need an assistance tool like this but I was pleasantly surprised. This lift assist tool will primarily be used to help my dad stand from time to time and I can confidently say it was way better than trying to lift him directly with a bear hug approach. Some key highlights for me include:- Portable: Very compact and slim resulting in high portability/mobility- Safety: No longer have to hold my father in a manner in which he could possibly get hurt when helping him stand since the aid helps to isolate him to one side while I'm on the other- Sturdy: High density plastic with rubberized contoured handles that have grooves for ultimate stability and grip- Lightweight / High Weight Capacity: Weighs less than 1.5 lbs. but can withstand threshold up to 450 lbs.- Ease-of-Use: Person needing assistance grabs standing aid on one end while helper pulls grips on other end to help them up. A simple but ingenious design.Ultimately, this is the aid I never knew I needed until it arrived. Highly recommend and an easy 5 out of 5 rating.

I wish I had known this was available earlier. My husband fought cancer for several years and during a good portion of that time, he needed help getting up. Trying to help him on my own was difficult, lopsided it seemed, because we were unevenly matched in strength. After being told about this, a friend ordered it for us and it was much easier for a good amount of time. I didn't attempt to pull him at first, I held steady and basically was his anchor. As he weakened, I would help some with pulling to help him up. This is a much safer way for both the patient and the caregiver. For situations like ours, it's a must-have.

This is a great tool for helping someone up. Normally I would use hand to wrist from both people for a more secure grip. This tool allows each person to to use both hands with a full grip. A bonus is instead of overlapping hands or hands/wrist and losing distance which causes the person to lean forward more this adds distance which allow the person standing to stand straighter and keep a more stable setting while helping someone up. Not having toe lean forward also helps those with back pain!!

Itβs a high quality item and very functional. The materials are good quality. The rubber had grips are very nice and help you get a good grip. Very easy to use. Doesnβt weigh too much but seems very durable. I think itβs a very good value.

Super sturdy and well-made. It really helps when you need to assist someone in standing up without putting in too much effort. The grip is reliable, and it's lightweight yet durable. I have no issues whatsoeverβit does exactly what it's meant to do. Fits a range of sizes, or people as you might say. Decent value

This device is simple to use for anyone able to put in a little effort to help you get them up. I personally use mine to help with an elderly parent with mobility issues and it works very well. I'm extremely thankful for this device and I do recommend for people who are able to semi help themselves up to just get an extra assist.

I think this is a very well made product that could potentially help to prevent an injury to a caregiver or anyone needing assistance getting up. My son has a back injury and has been laid up for almost two years, this lift assist will be so helpful in helping him to get up and out of the chair without someone having to bend or lean forward to assist him. Itβs light weight, approx 1.5 lbs, yet itβs solid and sturdy. Itβs easy to grip with the rubber non slip hand grippers. I love the size and that itβs portable and can go with us to his doctorβs appointments. I think this lift assist will be incredibly helpful to my family.
