I had another suction cup that kept coming loose, but this one held tight with no issues. The RomHaus Metal Suction Cup Base for RAM B Size 1"/25mm Ball Mount is significantly better than any suction mount I've tried in the past, and I've tried quite a few.When I first installed this mount, after cleaning the glass with alcohol, I noticed that the "draw-down" of the suction cup felt much more significant than I'd experienced in other products. I also noticed that the suction cup itself seemed more pliable and better constructed than most.Once installed, the mount is "rock-solid", with no flexing or movement, no matter how much pressure is applied.This is a great mount, especially considering the price.

The ball portion of the mount is metal, however the suction cup base it screws too appears to be only ABS plastic. With that said, the suction cup does hold very tight once you rotate the lever and lock it down. Doesn't seem to sag or lose suction on hot sunny days when the glass is almost impossible to touch. Unlike other mounts I have that tend to fall off almost daily during the temperature changes of night vs day this one seems like a winner. Time will tell though.

Hold better than expected. I am tired of the phone mounts that come off the windshield during hot and cold weather. This suction cup is softer than most and the twist tightening system pulls the cut very tight. The 25mm ball head connect to all my RAM Mount system parts.

Practically indistinguishable from the genuine RAM Mount equivalent that it’s replacing. Well built, and appears to be made of high quality materials. Note the base is plastic, and the only 'metal' part is the ball and AMPS plate.

Had to purchase another part for this because the description wasn't clear that it was only the base - none of the pictures said base only, arm not included, etc... Works as expected and seems to have a strong grip!

The media could not be loaded. This is better than I had expected. The suction cup is really firm. It holds very tight to smooth surfaces like glass, but will even adapt to slight curves. The vacuum is easy to engage and disengage. I find it will need to be adjusted on hot days in the vehicle because of the movement in the base material. I just disengage and re-engage.The ball fits all of my ball-based mounting, so I can put my radio or phone or camera on it. I'm considering mounting some technical requirement that I want to read easily.
