I was able to use this spray, directly in that area and it didn't stop the itching. I am hoping that it cures the problem completely but only time will tell.I would definitely give it a try if you have any issues with your scalp, it was easy to use and direct right to where you need it and it didn't aggravate my scalp at all, it did stop the itching and it didn't leave my hair feeling greasy like I needed to go and wash it.At $16.99 it seems reasonably priced, I didn't need to use a lot so I think it will last a while. It's definitely worth giving it a try.

The active ingredient in this scalp treatment is 3% salicylic acid, which is a proven ingredient that helps break down thick, scaly skin on the scalp, making it easier to remove flakes and debris. It is also an anti-inflammatory; it can help reduce inflammation and itching, which are common symptoms of eczema, psoraisis, dandruff. I've had no skin irritation so far with this product, even overnight. I've managed to keep my psoriasis completely at bay using limited topical corticosteroids, topical vitamin D for the scalp, and salicylic acid. I prefer this product over 2% salicylic acid shampoo. I will update this review if I experience any problems.

I’ve been struggling with scalp issues for years, including patches of psoriasis, and occasional folliculitis, I’ve tried countless shampoos and treatments, but this medicated spray has been very helpful, I noticed a reduction in itchiness and flaking within the first few uses, the soothing effect is almost immediate, unlike thick creams or shampoos that need rinsing out, this spray is super easy to apply directly to trouble spots and absorbs quickly. doesn’t leave the scalp oily or heavy, and there’s no overwhelming smell.This medicated spray is definitely worth a try, it’s effective, convenient, and gives noticeable relief from dryness, itching, and inflammation.

I have prescription topicals for my psoriasis, but I like to use non-steroid options when my symptoms aren't extreme. My flare-ups occur just on elbows and my scalp at the nape of my neck.This spray contains 2% salicylic acid, the same ingredient found in OTC acne medications at different strengths. Pads with salicylic acid (like Stridex) have always been effective for me as a skin soother when my elbow patches are especially itchy. This spray provided similar relief on those areas.For my scalp (the underside of my hair at the nape of my neck), this spray wasn't ideal as an application method. I felt like most of the product was going in my hair instead of down to my scalp---even with rigorous massaging. It didn't leave residue exactly, but my hair did feel a little oiler after spraying. Other brands I've tried are simply liquid in a pointed squeeze bottle, and that was much better for getting down to the scalp.
