This comes with instructions. On the instructions this QR code actually does work and it takes you to a YouTube video. The video shows how to use and set. Now there are written instructions but from setting many digital watches in my lifetime, the mode button usually is the button to change what needs to be set, then a different button goes forward on this actually the light button and start button makes the number change forward (1, 2, 3, up to 12 or 24 depending on whether your in 24HR or 12HR mode. Once time is set then, if you want to set alarm you'll be in your 24HR or 12HR mode. On the face has the day of the week and also displays the month & day. at the bottom of the face is the seconds. Just remember when setting time in 12HR format that there is a "A" for AM and clicking past 12 will go to "P" for PM. The Chronograph or stopwatch works like any other stopwatch. Use the start button to start and press the start button again to stop, if you want to reset to 0000 just press the reset button. Easy. Great Digital watch, that looks good and durable. I have smart watches but you need to press a button for it to show the face to see the time. I'm just used to looking down at my wrist to see the time without pressing a button. The time always will show if you have the mode for time with day/ date etc. The back is screwed on and I like that with being waterproof rather than a back that pops off. Yes 5 stars, I found it's a great digital watch that look nice wearing.

Living in the Pacific Northwest, it's always a pleasure when you can go exploring the mountains and valleys with friends in the area. It's also quite easy to find yourself in an “off-grid” situation. When that happens, all our electronic phones and watches become useless. Sure, we could spend a lot of money on a satellite phone. To keep track of time, I used to rely on an old wind-up watch. It worked well, but it wasn't very waterproof, and it finally got damaged the last time we were out. So I began looking for an inexpensive, sizable replacement that I could use to keep track of time. I came across this digital watch by SOCICO.After using it for a while, I believe it will be perfect for my needs. The watch is large, about the size of a silver dollar, and bright enough to read in both daylight and nighttime (with the internal light). It's waterproof and very rugged. I think the case is made of milled aluminum with a stainless steel back. It has a few modes for alarm and stopwatch. I'm not sure how much I will be using these, but they may come in handy.In summary, for the cost, if you are looking for a timepiece and alarm, I believe this watch is a great choice. The band is very comfortable, and the watch is large enough that you will know you are wearing it. It is highly recommended if you just want a timepiece and not a computer on your wrist that won't break the bank.

For a simple watch, it fits the bill. It may not have any fancy features, but for what it does, it does it well. I have not had any issues with the function and it has been easy to operate. The numbers are big and are easy to view. It is easy to ready because the watch is big actually quite big. I mention that because it would not work well for a kids watch. If it was a bit smaller, I would probably recommend it for a kid since it is simple does not have complex functions they would not use anyway.My only concern is that the plastic does not quite seem as durable as it could be. I am not saying if you tap it against something it will shatter, but I have had others that just felt more sturdy. I honestly do not really anticipate it being an issue for my use case. Overall, the value is good for what you get. If you want a simple watch that is easy to read, then this could possibly be the one you get.
