4.0 out of 5 stars Good budget controller but can be a chore to setup for PC
First impression after taking it out of the box, it's very light, which can be a plus if you plan on gaming for hours on end and don't want to get tired from holding a heavy controller.Although it's designed for Xbox, just about any Xbox accessory can work with a PC. I used the included USB-C to USB-A cable to connect it and it rumbled, but it was not listed in my Windows settings. I checked Steam and it was not listed there either. I installed the Xbox Extended Feature Support Driver in Steam which required a reboot. Still not showing. I then installed the TurtleBeach PDP software and even then it wasn't being recognized. After unplugging the controller while the PDP software was running, the controller was finally recognized. I played a little bit of GTA to test the controller and the analog controls seem accurate and the sticks don't seem to have any drift, although that may change the more the controller is used.Overall, a good budget controller, but it loses a star for a convoluted set up on PC. I don't have an XBox to test it on, but the set up will probably be easier than on PC.
5.0 out of 5 stars This controller surprised me, High quality for the price!
I'm a big PC gamer, and I have had many a controller in my time playing, and this surprised the heck out of me! For the price this is a great value as its made similar to the original Xbox one controller, the joy-sticks are nice and springy, and they bounce back like they should, the button movements are nice and smooth and don't get stuck, the controller is nice and sturdy, and I really like the camo print and bright green color scheme of it, and it feels really sturdy, more sturdy than other controllers that I got for around the same price. The controller vibration is average and on par with an original Xbox controller, It does not light up or change colors, AND I LIKE IT. I'm so tired of this color changing glow that all of the aftermarket controllers seem to have whether corded or cordless. The one advantage that corded controllers have over cordless ones is that most if not all corded controllers have zero lag/latency, and this is no different, it's very responsive and so far has given me no trouble. I will update this review as time goes on to look for stick drift and how long it's going to last before I need to replace it, but for now, Go Turtle Beach!!! Thanks for the great controller!
5.0 out of 5 stars ~190 Hz polling rate; lightweight; button remapping; weaker rumble; lack textured grip
I like this controller. It’s lightweight (especially compared to my original Xbox controller) and has dual rumble motors (but weaker). I also appreciate the integrated volume control and it is easy to use. You can also download the control hub companion app for remapping the buttons, etc….The cable is 8 feet (2.5 meters) long and uses USB-A to USB-C.Pros:1. Higher polling rate – It has a polling rate at around190 Hz, which is better than most competitors in this price range (typically 120 - 125 Hz).2. It is lightweight, so should be comfortable to use for extended periods.3. I think it is of great value, decent quality at this price ($30).4. It supports App that allows additional configuration: adjust dead zone, remap buttons, volume change., etc… which is rare for controllers at this price point.Cons:1. Weaker rumble motors (it is lightweight0... but I think the feedback is kinda soft. I personally don’t use rumble, so it’s not an issue for me.2. Smooth surface: it doesn’t have any non-slip or textured grip. There is no rubber caps, and the D-pad is made of hard plastic that feels a bit slippery. It hasn’t slipped out of my hands, but the feel takes some getting used to.Anyway, I still think this is a good value for the price! So, 4.5 stars that rounds up to 5.
3.0 out of 5 stars Average controller
Very lightweight (to the point that it almost feels cheap)Requires the use of their app to take full advantage of the additional features
4.0 out of 5 stars Decent controller for the price with a couple of nitpicks
I exclusively use Xbox controllers on my PC and figured I'd give this a try. Pretty solid controller for the price with a couple of nitpicks that are worth pointing out.Pros:-Lightweight since there aren't any batteries to deal with.-Audio controls mapped to controller is pretty clever and actually useful.-Pretty much the same shape as a Microsoft controller so it took no time to get used to.-Sticks feel nice and return to center perfectly.-Pretty good deal at $30, especially for a licensed product.-The camo pattern and colors look really goodCons:-Weak force feedback. This should've be easy to overcome with a light controller but they just don't have enough juice.-D Pad feels kind of bad. Works fine for audio controls but I wouldn't want to use it for gameplay, and luckily you don't really need it for a lot of games anyways.-The controller is really slick, it has no type of texture at all and is pretty slippery
5.0 out of 5 stars If you used PDP, you used this
This controller is just a PDP controller with some of Turtle Beach’s tech. When factoring the price, this is a good controller. Long cord & didn’t need an update upon its first use. The controller is smooth almost slippery as it does not have any texture. It’s light and feels cheap. Thumb sticks are very responsive & springy. The RT, LT, RB, LB are snappy and responsive as well. D pad is squishy, yuck. Rumble/vibration is okay; a bit on the lighter side but still very noticeable. It comes with a ‘manual’ but it isn’t really a manual. Has a QR code that takes you to the quick start guide. And that’s where you’ll find it’s a PDP controller (Turtle Beach’s acquired PDP in 2024). The function button acts like the FN key on a keyboard. Holding it down while pressing the D pad turns volume up, down, and can adjust chat vs in game volume. Double tapping it mutes the mic.Overall, for a budget controller, this has some good features Turtle Beach is known for. I would buy it.

Moyen
Gâchettes très courtes, croix directionnelle pas fou et aucun grip sur les joystick.Prenez plutôt une PDP.
