I lately have primarily used a Gillette ProGlide in the shower, and occasionally have cleaned up with a Phillips OneBlade (original release model 2016).All I can say is… WOW! As of yet the only complaint I have is the product arrived with the box likely haven been opened, but all parts were present and the cleaning pod was sealed. This razor certainly comes at a price, but if you are financially in a place to treat yourself I would strongly recommend this razor.Pros:-comfortable shave, no irritation so far-the light/pressure guide probably isn’t needed for seasoned folks but can be turned off so it’s left up to the user-clean appearance, looks good in the stand on the countertop-the display (while a little overboard and not needed for a razor) is very neat and adds to the premium feel of the device-cleaning pod works as advertised-delivers a very close shave, that closes the gap between traditional electrics and manual razors-comfortable in the handCons:-while the app is certainly cool enough for those who like techy things, I used it for setup and have not found myself using it again. Not a dealbreaker but I feel like a companion app for a razor isn’t something I find myself needing.-this thing is big! The comfort in the hand helps but just note that this may be larger than other razors you have seen/used-the bezel around each rotary blade is a bit wide. It is smaller than the earlier model of the 9000 series but bigger than other brands/older Phillips models. Not a huge issue but may make the area under the nose a little trickier for some. As a mustache wearer I don’t have this issue!-Cleaning Pod storage - I love the cleaning pod, but I worry that leaving the liquid open will cause it to evaporate so I find myself closing it after each use. With the pod closed you can’t close the cleaning pod so you have to store the cleaning solution and pod separately. Not a huge deal but a little bit cumbersome storage wise.-Price — I do feel that I am getting what I paid for, but it took some convincing to myself to spend so much on a razor! For a daily/bi-daily use item though it isn’t so much a con as much as a barrier for some.Overall, if you got the cash and want a top of the line rotary electric razor with all of the bells and whistles, look no further!

This is absolutely the very best electric shaver I have ever owned. After holding it in your hands makes you appreciate the quality and time that went into this design. I own several high-end razors but this really is the best. I get a really wonderful dry or wet shave like I haven't from other devices. I really happy with all the accessories included as well. If I could suggest several improvements for the next evolution it would be a built-in pop-up trimmer, and a cleaning station that would be on par with Braun's offering. The Braun's cleaning station has a more comprehensive cleaning cycle with a drying phase. In addition the Braun's doubles as a charging station as well. Besides those two recommendations this Phillips Norelco will be my go to razor for years to come as I get the close, efficient shave I've been looking for that really gets even the toughest of stubborn hairs. Great job on this series.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Having used a Philips Norelco Electric Shaver for over 30 years I tend to stay with the brand because I'm used to it. But my 7 year old shaver has not been working that great so I decided to splurge and buy another top of the line Norelco. TBH, I'm much more impressed with the shave than I thought. Motor is faster than my prior model and it took less effort to get a clean shave. Functionality:I bought the Prestige Ultra thinking that if I get 7 years or so out of it then I want to have their top of the line. I thought the materials would be more solid and have a better finish. I really don't have a lot of complaints so far with the shave itself (only used it once) but the stand and cleaner are very disappointing. When you place the shaver on the stand it just wobbles. There is not a solid connection at all. Norelco ditch the lighting feature on the stand and just make a solid stand. Then the cleaner arrangement is downright dumb. Once you open the cleaner pod it is prone to spill so you need to find a place on your counter for it. My last Philips had a cleaning device that acted as a stand. Because the power attachment is not meant to be on the razor when your cleaning it you really don't have a choice but to keep the open shaver cleaner open and on your counter. How hard was that to anticipate being a consumer problem.

The shaver is great. Very smooth as well as quiet. I wanted the cleaning pod as the Phillips shaver that I had previously developed a musty smell when rinsed with water even though I made certain that it was completely dry before reattaching the top portion. Unfortunately the cleaning pod stopped working after only two cleanings. I called customer service and was told that is not under warranty and I would have to purchase a new pod. So I would rate their customer service as worthless. Since I am still in the return window I may send the shaver back and maybe get one w/o the pod.

I've used Norelco shaving products for many years. I was worried that the blade-head design would not allow it to shave close to the area around my upper lip and nose; however, the performance of this after using it now for several weeks is excellent. I feel that despite the higher cost, the value for money is good.

I spent over $300 for a competitors, high-end razor and ended up giving it away because it would not shave my face at all. This Phillips razor has been absolutely perfect right out of the box and every day since then. I get a wonderful, smooth, clean shave every time don’t waste your time with other races by a Phillips razor.

Best shave yet from any electric shaver
I got this Philips i9000 Prestige Ultra, and I must say I'm genuinely impressed with its performance. It outshaves every other device I've tried before, offering an exceptionally quick and efficient shaving experience. Unlike typical electric shavers that often take longer than traditional razors, this model delivers speed without compromising on quality. And I like that I don’t need to run the same area again and again couple of run was kind of suffice to get the clean shave.I used the regular mode without foam despite having sensitive skin. Although I experienced a slight burning sensation around my neck area, it was easily alleviated with some aftershave, leaving me comfortable shortly after. The shaver's lightweight design makes it effortless to manoeuvre, which is particularly handy as I maintain a goatee beard.What truly stands out for me as a tech enthusiast is the shaver's smart connectivity feature. Being able to link it to my phone and access detailed data like Pressure and Motion which keeps me informed on how I am using the shaver which has proven both fascinating and useful.
