Candy necklaces were one of my favorite treats when I was a kid, in large part because they are so much fun to eat. I remember slipping the elastic banded cancy necklaces over my head and wearing them like a choker, occasionally eating a candy "bead" off the necklace by scooching the string into my mouth with my chin. A candy necklace could last me an entire afternoon this way. Such a fun memory!These candy necklaces harken me back to those childhood days. They look very similar to the candy necklaces I remember, with their pastel-colored candies strung through the elastic. The necklace does not fit over my adult noggin (nor would I expect it to), but I can comfortably wrap it twice around my wrist. The candy flavor is a little different from what I remember--these candies remind me of Smarties, another oldtime treat. Not a bad thing, just different from my recollection. These necklaces come individually wrapped, so you can use them for a variety of purposes, including pinatas, party favor bags, or as a treat to hand out with Valentine's Day cards. A fun and nostalgic candy that takes me back to when I was a kid.
