I’ve been using these protein test strips to monitor my health at home, and they’ve been a helpful tool overall. The instructions were clear, and the strips are very easy to use — just dip, wait a few seconds, and compare the color to the chart provided
1.0 out of 5 stars FAULTY STRIPS DO NOT BUY
This product was defective. Used it to test my granddaughter's urine to determine when she could begin to ween off of a steroid that she is on for a kidney disease flair up. Had to test three times a day and wait for 2 days in a row where all three tests came back good. These strips had her testing good and ready to ween for one test and then the same day testing off the chart. Literally off the chart on the side of the bottle. She ended up on the steroid for 3 weeks longer than projected due to the strips showing her protein being too high, at which point the doctor ordered her to come in for a pee test right in the hospital. That test done with hospital supplies came back good, even though the strip we used only an hour earlier had her off the chart. We were ordered to do a second test through Quest the following day and to call with results. Each strip we used between leaving the hospital and retesting at Quest came back off the chart, yet Quest came back good just like at the hospital. Went to CVS and bought new at home strips and used 3 of them and 3 strips from this package. The CVS strips came back good, the ones from this came back off the chart. FAULTY FAULTY FAULTY! My granddaughter was immediately put onto a weening schedule by the doctor, meanwhile she had been on a heavy steroid for THREE WEEKS LONGER THAN NEEDED just because of these damn strips. DO NOT BUY!
