The media could not be loaded. All Metal Grain Mill AttachmentI used this attachment for my Kitchen Aid!It was very easy to instal. It felt like it wasn’t going to be stable at first but it was. In the video you can see me trying to see if it will fall out and it does not.If this is your first time using an attachment like me, just note the screw isn't supposed to go all the way in like you think it would. So just note that when you put it on.Make sure you read the manual for care of the machine. Such as no dishwasher and use the brush they provide to clean the piece. Very simple. Just good to read it. They also provided some fun recipes in the instruction book.When you turn on the machine to mill, make sure you have a bowl under before putting anything in to start grinding. The grinding process in the thinnest grind setting is a process so give it time to do its thing. It takes a bit to get going but you will see it start to fall a little at a time. It also suggests not using the fastest setting for best results. It was perfectly milled once it was done.I used mine to mill oats to make my kids some homemade bars.And I will also be making oat flour. Endless milling in the future.It’s a simple attachement and easy to clean. I really can't think of any cons. So far it seems made with good material and I can't tell if there is a coating that will chip but it doesn't seem so. I do think this is a great gift for a baker. They can use it to make flour.It's a pretty heavy attachment so don't drop it!

This attachment was a big letdown. It only grinds fine on one setting, and even then the result isn’t great for baking. It overheated when I tried grinding nuts and made a huge mess—flour flew everywhere. For the price, it’s just not worth it. I ended up returning it and going back to my blender, which works way better with zero mess.

I really wanted to like this grinder/mill, especially since the higher end mills are currently out of stock until next year. I will say that it is easy to take apart to clean, and the installation was really easy. It does overheat my mixer, and I have to shift and mill a few times in order to get fine flour for baking.

This is my first grain mill grinder. So far, it has done a good job with my needs. I've done wheat berries and it made flour quickly. Next, I tried coffee barley and again it performed well. Mostly it clean easily and fast. Overall the construction seems good material and very sturdy. The motor sounds good and strong. For my first electric grinder I am very happy with my purchase.
Good grinder for course grounds
It works fine for hard grains. It just doesn't make fine enough flour for bread baking.After more trials I found how to adjust this grinder so that it really can make good quality flowers.Now it's working really good.
