It is small and fits under my kitchen counter so I like the fact that it’s easy to get to but not cluttering my counter. I will use it often as my husband and I sometimes buy in bulk and a lot of food gets wasted Chicken and meat is so expensive and fruit and vegetables spoil so quickly It is easy to use and sealed completelyThe Instructions are easy to understand and the whole pamphlet should be read. There is also a video on how to use this machine There is a place to insert a tube on the side of the machine but no tube is included and no mention ofwhat it is for is in the instructions The only strange thing is it says it is good for storing liquids but the instructions advise against sealing liquids but that maybe for sealing and removing all the air

First I always read the negative reviews and then decide if I am going to try. I have been heat sealing for quite a while and the one thing I do not like that it is so much trouble to get everything out and then put it all away again. That is why I decided to give this a try. I could seal as I go and not save everything to a marathon sealing day. I read through the book, well written, and then said PATIENCE and started working on a cupboard of items. It took me about a half hour of mistakes to finally get it right but them the lightbulb moment happened and I was sealing like a champ.The nicest thing about this is its size. I am going to be able to keep this on a counter and use it probably daily. It is light weight and attractive enought to stay out. I love the double seal on this. My favorite big sealer is a double sealer and it is a time save since I believe everything should be double sealed. Also it has suction cups so it doesnt slip and slide all over the counter. They have a good firm grip where with my other sealers I ended up using a towel under them. It does recommend no liquids but I am a soux vide user so I will try the liquid route carefully. This machine does have a way to clean the insides in case of overflow. I will update on any problems but it is a winner for me right now. Good luck and happy sealing

Very impressed with this machine I have a larger one which I always have to put away because it’s so large. It takes up too much room on the counter. This one I can leave out and take up absolutely no room. It’s amazing. Never thought they’d have one this small. That would work so well if you’re debating getting this, it’s a definite purchase to get. It is a space saver without any doubt my husband said I should get it and try it. I thought it would be a gimmick or a joke. It definitely is not. It allows me to keep it out on the counters and take out no room at all it works amazing and you can use other bags with it from the large system. It takes a little getting used to just because you have to slide the bag but otherwise it has been amazing. I love how compact and how powerful it is.Size:The size stands as high as a Yukon cup as you can see by the photo, but it is a powerful machine and it seals everything and anything

Not as easy as it appears. Bags don’t feed in well, and if you don’t babysit the bag the whole time while it’s passing through the machine, it won’t seal right because the two sides of the bag often get pulled through unevenly. I have even had bags 2 different times get jammed up in the rollers so bad that I had to pull them free so forcefully, that I was prepared for the machine to be broken after. It took real muscle to get them free, so I would imagine, for some, the machine would remain hopelessly jamme. And yes, they were the instaseal branded bags. You also only get 2 or 3 seals at a time before it overheats and you have to wait for the machine to be ready again. I have an off brand flat vacuusealer which cost half as much, reliably perform way better than this machine, especially since I bought the instaseal specifically so I didn’t have to monitor the bag sealing once loaded into the machine. This is, unfortunately, an expensive gimmick.

Great Little Gadget. Every kitchen should have one. I was skeptical at first. But after seeing the commercials on TV, I decided to give it a try. I have wanted a sealer for a long time. But my space is limited and other units seem too big. Plus, I make a lot of homemade soups and freeze them. "Flat" sealers pull up the liquid and suck it out of the bag leaving a mess. But this sealer because it is upright doesn't make a mess. Ad says it works with any sealer bags. Not so much. I tried others. Stick with the bags that go with this unit when you reorder. It's worth it. Also, it would be nice if it had a retractable cord. All and all I say buy It!

We had a big food saver machine, but i went to visit my parents and they had just bought one of these. i loved it, so i bought one as well. It looks too small, but it actually works just as well or better than my big one. It came with a few bags, but i used them real quick when trying it out, so i got on Bolo and bought some off-brand bags and they work just as well in this. We got rid of our big machine because this one is much easier to store and easier to get out and use. This thing is awesome.

Perfect size for what I need. I don't leave it on the counter like others have said but it is very compact. I'll need to order more bags. Bags are strong and both the sealing and the vacuuming features are great.

Easy to use as package vacs flat easy to store.I was successful after the first one I botched.Fascinating process to watch the process. This will pay for itself by saving items from frost burn. I would happily recommend it to anyone.
