Solid dish soap, in my opinion, is a lot easier to work with than liquid and usually a better value. It lasts longer and saves space. Each of these pucks will probably last me about as long as a bottle of regular dish soap and they're cleaning just as well, sometimes better, than liquid soap.The first thing I notice, taking the plastic off the box, is the fresh lemon smell. The soap seems heavily scented at first, but once it's been open for a bit, it mellows out and isn't as strong, but is still very fresh.

This natural bar soap has a very pleasant Lemon scent straight out of the package. The bar is solid, yet soft - such that the bar has a flat edge from how it was laying in the package in colder weather. The benefit is that is seems to later easily and does cut grease and grime well. While it is effective, I have to spend a decent amount of time lathering after 2-3 dishes. This product does work, but seems like not much value at $22.Compared to competition that makes liquid soap that cleans faster for less money, I like the idea, but I am not sure that you can convince me it is worth it using the bar over liquid.

These dish soap bars seem really good! They smell amazing, it’s such a fresh lemon smell that does not smell artificial at all. I don’t normally use bars so it took some getting used to. It suds less than liquid soap initially, but does have plenty of suds when you’re scrubbing. I wish I had a brush rather than a sponge, but it has been working well. You do need to get something to set it on; I didn’t initially and it got stuck to the counter because I got it wet. I have been using it for a few weeks and there is barely even a dent in it, so I expect this set will last me a long time. I am pleased with these bar dish soaps.

Using bar soap for dishwashing is a new thing for me, and I am still getting used to it. So far I am satisfied with the lather, the cleaning effectiveness, and the scent, but it is a lot messier for me than liquid soap, especially since I have a soap dispenser built into my sink. I ended up putting a silicone coaster under it to help it dry out when I'm done using it and to keep it somewhat corralled when I'm using it. I think what I really need to do is pick it up like I'm washing my hands, but I'm applying it to the sponge. This should cut down on the mess, but it makes it a two-handed operation. That said, I have been getting more and more on board with liquid-less cleaning supplies (tablets, sheets, etc.). You can't beat the footprint - or lack thereof - of these formats. Back to these dish soap bars, I do dishes every day because there are things that I will probably never feel comfortable putting in the dishwasher, and I am satisfied so far with the longevity of these bars. At the end of the day, I think whether or not this product is for you will be based on what your priorities are. Full disclosure, being eco-friendly is not a top priority for me. However, this product works well enough that I have every intention of using it until it's gone, so I would say that I recommend it as far as effectiveness. The rest is up to you.
