One could call me a connoisseur or a snob. I eat sunflower seeds for hours while fishing, probably 3 or 4 times a week. I have tried many brands and there is always some variation based on the strain of seed they are using, but I've never seen sunflower seeds like this. While some seeds I've tried are as fat as these, these seeds are the longest sunflower seeds I've ever eaten. They are huge. The seeds arrived well sealed, they were fresh and salted. The flavor was pretty standard for original flavor sunflower seeds, but the seeds were very large and plump. Putting a handful in my mouth and spitting out the shells, I found the seeds split easily and the seeds came out in one piece. Overall, it was a very pleasant and unique sunflower seed experience. These seeds are pretty expensive, but for a sunflower seed connoisseur who has tried it all and wants some unique sunflower seeds of Turkish origin, I think it's totally worth it.

Tasty but not work the $8 per bag. They are all different sizes, but there aren't many broken ones. Overall tasty, not too salty and the roast is good, but not worth the price for a 5oz bag.

Wow did this take me back... It's been a while since I've gone through a bag of sunflower seeds.The seeds are generally large, but there is more variation in size/shape than you see with more mainstream brands. The roast seems well done, such that the shell shatters nicely and the kernels separate easily. And the salt level is just right. Very little chaff or opened shells in the bag.Perfect for sporting events, fishing, road trips, anywhere else you have time to kill. Just do it somewhere where the wife won't complain about the shells...ask me how I know.The bag is resealable. I received in 6/2025 with an expiration date of 6/2026.

These sunflower seeds are large and unusually shaped compared to the David brand. The hulls are fairly thin and not too sharp, which is a plus. I do wish they were a bit saltier, but the seasoning is still noticeable.

I’ve had some sunflower seeds that are quite difficult to open because they were not roasted to the correct point of dryness. These are super easy to open – I can do it with my fingers without issue. Some people may prefer to enjoy the salty outer shell before opening, but each to their own.These are actually quite light and airy. Until you learn to open these without breaking the seed inside, you may be frustrated, as the seed itself is also dried to a nice light, airy texture. Took me a bit, but I think I’ve got my fingering technique down (no pun intended). IF the price were right when I wanted more, I’d reorder.

As soon as I opened the packet, I caught a whiff of the slight stale smell inside. Even though the expiration date is stated as June 2026, these seeds are definitely not fresh at all. I tried a number of them, and most of the ones that I tried have a not-fresh flavor to them. Further, even though the shells themselves are big, most of the seeds inside are thin and small.For a price of $7.49 for the 5 oz packet, this is way too expensively priced, even if it was a good product.
