In fact, I was prepared for the fact that it just might not work. I was wrong. I couldn't be more satisfied with it. I have been using it to play some old music tapes and recording some of the music directly on a microSD card. I found that it is very easy to do and the recordings sound great. So far, it has been working great for me, and I am completely satisfied.

I discovered 35 year old cassettes I needed to find a way to listen and save. I ordered this and I'm so glad I did! The tapes played and I discovered precious moments with my children on the tapes. I was able to easily save them and the quality was great!

This product could be very good. It is very cute and of good quality. But it has a bad hum if you try to record from a pc with it plugged in. I do to much recording to have to worry about batteries. I am saddened about having to return it.Edit - I found a work around I have a rechargable battery backup that I can plug into the player without the noisy Hum. It does a decent Job.

Really works great. Sound quality and ease of use better than expected. Easily exported cassette audio into Adobe Audition very cleanly. Super impressive at this price point.

I am a police officer and needed something to convert old cassette tapes in evidence to a digital format. This worked perfect. Just stick a USB drive into the player and hit play. Very simple.

I Had gotten a different Tape to Digital product that had a LOT of machine noise that obscured the sound. This one does as well but it is minimal in comparison. The hoops to jump through to get the tape converted are a little more involved (than that inferior one) but, I found that if you use the cable that comes with the unit and just plug in the power side (rather than using my own c-port cable) the recorder will then record to the separate USB or Micro card. After that, you can remove the USB where the .wav files are stored and do whatever you want with them. I am very happy with this purchase.
