I found a number of errors in this book. Al Michael's made the "Do you believe in miracles?" call, not some unknown dude. In the Super Bowl, the Patriots missed an extra point, not a field goal. The author put Phelps with nine gold medals when he only had four at the time. There were others that I don't remember. Did AI write this book?

I was extremely pleased to see such a diversity of sports in this book. I only have one recommendation: I would have liked to see at least one wrestling (not fake professional wrestling, but the real one) story in there. After all, if you look at the history of the Olympics, the first real sports competition, wrestling was the very first sport. Basically, our entire world of sports competition grew out of wrestling. Otherwise good read that will appeal to nearly all sports fans.

I recently read The Most Incredible Sports Stories Ever Told with my nephew, who’s a huge sports fan, and we both loved it! My nephew was especially excited about the "Miracle on Ice" chapter, since he’s a big hockey fan. The stories are written in a way that kept both of us hooked, and I loved how each chapter had a "Did You Know?" section full of fun trivia—he was constantly pointing out new facts.The variety of sports covered was a big plus. My nephew is into soccer, so the story about Leicester City winning the Premier League was a big hit for him. The book made us feel like we were reliving those iconic moments together, which was such a fun bonding experience. Even for the sports I’m less familiar with, like boxing, the Buster Douglas upset against Mike Tyson was so well told that it kept me interested.If you have a young sports fan in your life, I’d definitely recommend this book. It’s an engaging way to introduce them to some of the greatest moments in sports history.
