These chapters build the framework for the book and introduce readers to Lady Wisdom and Lady Folly, two figurative women used to teach the benefit of pursuing wisdom and the peril of rejecting it.  
  • Session Three: Wisdom in Our Words (28:16)—Ruth Chou Simons teaches on walking the way of wisdom in our words. The way of wisdom in our words isn’t a self-help program to get us what we want or to make others like us; it’s an alignment with God’s character, for His glory and our good. 
  • Session Four: Wisdom in Friendship and Neighborliness (36:56)—Kelly Minter teaches on walking the way of wisdom in our relationships with friends and neighbors. She draws connections between the principles in the book of Proverbs and the New Testament commands to extend to others compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. 
  • Session Five: Wisdom at Home (35:30)—Adrienne Camp hosts a conversation with Courtney Doctor, Ruth Chou Simons, and Jen Wilkin on walking the way of wisdom at home. Conversation topics include how to be wise in parenting, marriage, caring for aging parents, and what it means to be spiritual mothers to other women in the body of Christ.

God has entrusted us with these resources, and we are called to use them wisely. 
  • Session Seven: Training a Wise Heart (39:20)—Courtney Doctor teaches that true wisdom is not something we can merely dig deep, train hard, and go get. Instead, true wisdom will grow as we love and follow Jesus, the One in whom all wisdom is found. 
  • Session Eight: A Portrait of Wisdom (42:41)—In this final teaching, Jen Wilkin walks verse-by-verse through Proverbs 31, examining how this final chapter captures the main idea of the book of Proverbs as a whole.

Jen Wilkin is an author and Bible teacher from Dallas, Texas. She has organized and led studies for women in home, church, and parachurch contexts. Adrienne Camp, originally from South Africa, relocated to America at nineteen to pursue a career in music. She met her husband, fellow musician Jeremy Camp, and they have been married since 2003. Together, they have two daughters, Bella and Arie, and a son, Egan. In addition to her musical career, Adrienne is the author of three books, including her latest release, the Bible study As for Me: Life Through the Lens of the Psalms. She is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Theology through Denver Seminary. Adrienne is deeply committed to her family and to spreading God's love worldwide. Her greatest aspiration is to know God intimately and to make Him known to others.  

Elizabeth Woodson is a Bible teacher, author, and Founder of The Woodson Institute, an organization that equips believers to understand and grow in their Christian faith.  She loves helping people internalize their faith and connect it practically to everyday life. Elizabeth is the author of the Bible studies, Live Free and From Beginning to Forever, Embrace Your Life: How to Find Joy When the Life You Have Is Not the Life You Hoped For, and a contributing author for World on Fire.
