What is truly nice aboue this backpack is that for starters it is $19.98 at the time of this listing. What is surprising is that it is very well made and has a nice design. While I could pick on a few things such as the fact that it does not have a rigid internal frame, the overall padding could be thicker and the back sags a bit toward the rear, these things are really trivial given the value that you get. So while I would likely not use this for heavy backpacking (some might), this might be a good quick bag or for use as an everyday backpack. Nice zippers, storage options and pocket arrangements and a good waste belt.

I was excited. It had great storage capacity, great clips, lots of pockets, then I used the zippers. Failed on the 1st try. They would get stuck, the zipping would come undone, and one of the zippers came off. Can't be functional if the zippers can't stay closed.

This was a surprise. WHile this is not a top of the line back pack, it is a very good one for the price. As you read this review, please keep in mind what this costs.We wanted to upgrade our "bugout bag" and this 40L pack looked to be a good size. We did not expect anything fancy or overly durable. After all, we are hopeful to never put it into service. But we wanted to be prepared. This is more than perfect for the duties it will fill. It includes the pack itself with drink port as well as a port to route cables through. Also included is a USA A extension cableMade of decent materials. Designed very well with all sorts of places to place items. They did not waste a single inch of this pack. Zippered pockets all operate flawlessly with no binding at all. The shoulder straps and cinches do the job but are not what I would call comfortable. Not really uncomfortable but nothing like one of the high dollar packs. (Which we have for regular camping duties.)Bottom line is this pack is a lot more pack than twice the price would be, let alone the price it sells for. It would be a great day pack or starter pack too. But for us.... "bugout bag" duties is what it is being pressed into service for. We like this one.

I've been using this backpack daily for about a month now, and I've been pleased. The straps are nicely padded. The zippers all are smooth. The styling is understated and attractive. I like the various pockets, including a couple nice small pockets in the front, which work great for phone charging cords, pens, and other odds and ends. The two larger pockets work well for, well, larger things. I expect this to be a very flexible bag for tons of different applications. The largest drawback to daily use is that the main pocket doesn't really have a laptop sleeve; there's an elastic pocket in the back of the large pocket, and my laptop does fit in there, but it doesn't go in smoothly, and I often haves to use two hands to guide the laptop into the light nylon pocket. It works, but I wish it had been designed for laptop use, as I love to use my daypack for both daily to-and-from-work trips and also for hiking, flying, etc. But that slight drawback isn't enough to overcome that this seems to be a well-appointed and relatively well made bag. Pleased.
