Just like many molds that are advertised as "deep" these are not. I bought a set from a different brand thats advertised as the same depth and it's twice as deep. The measurements were clearly taken from the outside of the mold, not the actual chocolate you can produce with it.
4.0 out of 5 stars Deep mold--makes hard to snap apart chocolate bars
This is a nice quality silicone mold that facilitates making 6 bars at once. The bars you create are smaller than a full-size Hershey's, but still a generous size. The downside to this is that the ridges for the snap-apart pieces are rather shallow and the bar itself is pretty deep. This meant that when I made bars that filled the entire mold, they were thick and hard to break apart into individual pieces. Not sure if it matters, but I was using semi-sweet chips, which might be stronger than milk chocolate.

It is a bit smaller than I thought that it would be but I enjoy using it. Making little chocolate bars and cheesecake things etc for friends and the like. decently deep and not hard to clean. No one has gotten sick from the silicone so seems to be food safe as well.

The bars were much smaller than I thought, but you make up for that with the quantity. Its a silicone mold, not much to say, but it worked perfectly for the bars I had to make. Easy to clean too!

What is great about this mold is that you’re able to make six different bars! It’s perfect for multiple colors, or different projects. You can complete six bars at the same time. The squares are perfect. The mold is a nice and sturdy quality. Worth the price!

This would make good, thick candy bars like you used to get (chocolate bars). You can make 6 candy bars with this one mold. Very nice silicone mold.
