The phone SIM doesn’t work and the customer service is pathetic. Don’t waster your money and time.

I'm in a big city, so no connection issues.The price of $16.99 is a good deal for 12Gigs 4G connection.The only problem I have is that that there are many different sellers supplying Bolo with these cards. Some are NOT preloaded and require you to email them or sign up online. These suppliers need at least 1 day notice, and hours to connect are limited to their business hours.Sometimes you get lucky, and get a card direct from Lyca. These are preloaded, and are super easy to get started. No internet needed. Just like the ones you buy at convenience stores. Almost totally plug and play.These cards are unlimited internet, which I like. After12Gigs speeds are throttled. Web pages load in about a minute, video chat is choppy, but usable. Scrolling apps like Insta or Reddit are almost unusable.Protect your data by turning on Data Saver. If you have Spotify Pro, disable downloads over cellular on their app or else they will use up your data downloading your Playlist.If tethering to an iPad or PC, disable auto downloads on them first.If they decide to update apps or even the operating system, it can eat up all your data in minutes.All 3 of these have happened to me, and it's a real bummer when it does.On the bright side, the sim was only $16.99. :)I just got 2 more for family coming for a visit.

You can set it up as instructed but they will absolutely steal your phone number if you try to leave this service. They changed both my pin and account number without my knowledge or consent and then refused to give me the new information until I had my current carrier on a 3 way call demanding that they release my number. Tech support is extremely rude and will push you to purchase more of their services and will refuse to move on with verification of your account if you won't tell them details about why you're leaving the service. Again for those in the back: THEY LITERALLY REFUSED TO CONTINUE ON TO GIVE ME MY PORT OUT INFORMATION IF I DID NOT TAKE A SURVEY FIRST.The service absolutely works but is not worth having. Their customer service is beyond reprehensible and several of them laughed at me as I was literally sobbing into the phone because my long term number is tied to 2-factor authentication and I would have completely lost several important accounts.Don't use this service unless you're life is so unstable that you don't need to keep the same number.This is a burner company that only makes it because they don't have to pay to generate phone numbers. Because they steal them.
